Great resource!

The materials presented in this app are both relevant and necessary. All photographers- both professional and hobbyist - needs to know these rules and guidelines. With the endless availability of cameras these days, this app is a must have. I recommend this as "required reading" if you own a camera.

Decent
shopclass

Not a bad app. Fairly accurate. Please, for the love of good design, make the reading columns flush left. Currently they're justified and it's difficult to read; justify is usually reserved for newspapers and magazines only. Please: FLUSH LEFT. Otherwise a decent app.

No confidence
IonlyLikeCoolStuff

I don't know why I should trust this app. I don't see any any list of lawyers in each country who *specialize* in photography-related law who have signed off on the accuracy of this. Some of what I see here (have only looked at the US section) seems to be wrong though whats said errs on the side of caution. I'm not the sort to blindly believe in credentials, but I don't believe anything written about the law unless it's written by a lawyer who actually specializes in that particular area of the law. I recommend finding a specialist lawyer in each country to write each section and as compensation give them their own "for legal assistance contact..." section with a call and email button so they get free advertising. With that maybe I'd trust it.

Great!

Decent information.

I agree with the review about credentials but I believe the information is still very useful. I was recently photographing abandoned buildings at a prison compound and wasn't sure exactly what my rights there were. The area was of mixed use, there were prison buildings but also the DMV on the same property. So private and public buildings mixed in. I only shot the boarded up buildings. Security told me that if I photograph prisoners they can sue me. I didn't see anything in this app for this very particular situation. In conclusion, some more info ( like sources) would be an improvement and also incarcerated people's rights would help. Thanks for the nice app, hope we can see some good updates. I'm looking forward to it.

Excellent & Informative

I am taking college classes at Emory University . 'Digital Fine Arts' is the name of the group of courses I'm currently taking. I had to purchase 2 books for the legal issues in photography class & they were not cheap! THIS APP CONTAINS ALL OF THE SAME INFO and perhaps more. The rights of a photographer are not easily pulled up online as the rights vary from state to state and country to country. This app is easy to use , intuitive and correct in the wording of its contracts. Thank You for such a great app !!
