Very good with a bug they won't fix.

Photogene 4 is my favorite editor but has a bug on my iPad that the thumbnails of the photos on my iPad as displayed in Photogene don't always match the actual photo they represent. Instead they are thumbnails of photos from other photos. If you select the thumbnail the correct photo appears for editing. Multiple emails to notify them of the issue have not resulted in an update. Lack of response from the creator of the app is very annoying.

One of the best available

Photogene is intuitive and easy to use. The amount of editing available is usually reserved for desktop applications. It's where I start all of my mobile photo processing. I highly recommend Photogene.

Waste of money.

Crashes on RAW import. Not been updated in 2 years. No Dev support. Do not buy.

bugs not fixed in a long time

I contacted the developer over a year ago about various bugs in the app. He has not responded and he has not made an update to the app since September of 2014. It would be nice if he could at least act like a professional and inform us if the app will no longer be supported.

Favorite Photo Editing App

I've had several photo editing apps over the last 6 years and this one provides me with the best features and quality precision without me having to get onto a computer.

Awesome!!!✨

Great photo app

Cariscribe

Went searching for an app to let me add metadata, specifically copyright, to my iOS Photos before uploading to my blog. Photogene seems to have the best options for IPTC data and access to the most fields. The only glitch I've encountered do far is that Photogene at first does not load all my photos; my workaround was to download another metadata app (with far fewer options) to add the copyright and then for some reason Photogene recognizes it. I like the editing tools available and love being able to resize the photo on export and have so many options on where to send it. Dropbox is a great option since my Wordpress installation will import images directly from Dropbox. This app is letting me compose and illustrate an entire blog entry on mobile. I hesitated since it does not seem to be supported since 2014, but it is still working great on my iPad on iOS 9.3.

Fantastic

I use this every day. Perfect to manipulate saved photos off the net. Crop, retouch, blur, etc. Simple to use.

Cannot edit metadata

I bought this to edit metadata, only to find you cannot edit metadata. The description of the app is misleading.
