Bad changes

mix4321

The PhotoCircle app was amazing. The changes that were just made with the new update need to be fixed. The comments should show up at the bottom with our having to click the comment bubble. Also way are they on the left side when most people are right handed. The fact that there are now ads longer than the video clips is frustrating. 30 sec add for a 10 second video.

Update ruined a good thing

Nduvall!

Loved Photocircle before the update. Now it’s a mass of glitches . I don’t even enjoy the app anymore because it is so difficult to use. 1. Before any circle that had a notification moved to the top. Now I miss notifications because I have so many circles and they just randomly get notifications that I don’t know about. 2. I get the same notification multiple times which is super annoying 3. When trying to look at new comments and posts when you scroll the comments from the last picture stays on the new picture and you have to look several times to see actual comments. 4. Can’t just copy and paste links do you have to text everyone individually. I miss the 4 digit code it was a million times simpler From feedback I hear from friends the update was great for android users but awful for those of us with iPhones. If y’all fix these issues I will happily love photocircle again but right now I hate using it.

Could use some work

Thank you for providing a free app that stores photos and short video clips. Waiting for the updates to be updated, but hopefully it will soon be the best photo storage app out there!

Keeps Our Family Connected

EzDSF

My family uses PhotoCircle every day. During the lockdown, it was our go-to for keeping the grandparents updated on our son, who is now a toddler. We love the new update. It’s fresh and modern. The support team is super responsive. Whenever I’ve had a question or issue, they are quick to respond and incredibly friendly. In our last conversation, I learned about some of the new features they are working on. They seem to really care about families and privacy, and that’s why we love this app. We simply don’t trust Facebook and the other big social media with photos of our family.

Updated app is poorly designed

MIT Alumni

App design tricks you in to clicking ads and makes it almost non-functional. Have to repeatedly close the app to get out of the ads. It is all designed to frustrate you into paying for ad removal. Have used for 2 years prior and previous version was substantially better.

Lost all my pictures - don’t trust this app

squarecash

They deleted my account and lost all my pictures. Have been using for over a year. I did reach out their support team and never got a response after waiting for almost 30 minutes in chat. Just use another app.

Ads have gotten ridiculous

The ads have gotten ridiculous and out of control with this latest update. Entirely ruined the app. Considering deleting.

Love seeing my grandkids

george_co

My wife and I have used PhotoCircle for many years. It has brought so much joy to our lives. We don’t get to see our grandkids often as they live across the country. This is such a great way to keep in touch. Much easier than Facebook, which I don’t enjoy using.

Used to love PhotoCircle

jrej1131

I have used this for over three years. Absolutely love it but now since the new update I am no longer able to access my phones albums when trying to upload photos into the app. This makes it very difficult because I have a lot of photos but only specific photos uploaded into photo circle. Before the update I was able to select an album on my phone and upload from there. Please revert back to this to make it easier.

Chronological order, please!!

I'd like to echo the comments KML67 left a year requesting the photos appear according to the date they were taken, NOT the date they were uploaded (which is how it is now). Some of my albums are shared between 6 and 15 people and spanning photos taken over several months. Several people may upload bunches of photos at different times, from the same or different events. It's a hassle to sort through to find all the photos for a particular date and time. Much nicer browsing to have it chronological.
