What the title said, but version 4.7 does not work when you purchase-or restore- the full version. Hopefully an update is coming soon? I would love to use my favorite photo editing app again.

Things have gotten off to a very bad start .... I'm hoping I can get this app going by rebooting my iPad. I started with a single photo and in the process of enhancing it when the app said I could unlock some features by paying 99 cents. So I did but the features didn't get unlocked. ? Worse yet, after force quitting and restarting the app, a number of the controls are now locked and I can no longer open a new image to enhance. Net: unless rebooting iOS gets this app going with my purchased enhancements, I will delete it and chalk it up as a bad experience.

I would give it more stars, but I haven’t even had time to play with it yet. I don’t like being forced into giving a rating. I work and help raising my 2 old grandson. I let you know as I play.

I bought this a long time ago and have been enjoying this but after the most recent upgrade or iOS upgrade, I am not able to import and save photos from/to the phone. All the icons on the top of the screen (import/save/setting)stopped responding and not working any more. If I go back to the version with all the annoying ads, all functions start working again. I don’t know whose fault it is (apple or developer) but it really stinks. Because I have been enjoying this app, I wanted to give a 5star rating but I can only give 1 star until this problem has been resolved.

I was hoping for better quality transformations. There are only 22 different transformations and I would say I couldn't use half of them. Hopefully, they will improve them soon.

The basics: choose or take a picture, select a texture for it, then apply an effect. The good: it does an excellent job of rendering a photo as a pencil sketch. Each effect has sliders that let you control the look of the effect. The bad: there are 22 effects but you'll only want to use a couple of them. Unlike most such apps, you don't choose an effect from a menu of thumbnails. Instead, you must scroll through effects with the forward and back buttons. The list doesn't wrap, so if you get to #22 and want #1, you must scroll all the way back. The verdict: worth keeping but I'll probably layer these images with versions from other apps to make my final version.
