I enjoy using this app to digitize old photos of mine. You do have to watch out for glare from lights though- that is a nuisance. Overall, very nice

Great App and is probably the best in the market. I hope the developers are spending more time to tweak the app so that it can handle overly crowded photo albums.

Great photo scanner, but...

This app is the best I've tried for archiving a large number of pics, quickly and efficiently. My only gripe is that the app stays in portrait orientation. In order to view the scanned pics, on most devices, you must save landscapes positioned across the portrait screen. So Photomyne while being an effective scan/edit tool, is less than ideal as a viewer.

Few years ago I bought a photo scanner for around $150. Took hours to scan just a handful. Now the miracle of scanners. I just scanned over 30 photos in less than 5 minutes without issues and I can upload it to my iPhoto. Easy to use and great app. Thanks

Not only is this app really good at capturing a great digital pic of old photos, very easily and quickly, I love the fact that you can add a time period when the photo was originally taken. When I then import my scanned photos to my computer, they are now tagged with the old time period, so they show up in order in my photo software in my computer. One feedback for improvement is that instead of just being able to assign Spring, Summer, etc of a certain year, would be great to be able to assign an actual date. Great for those instances when I know exactly when the photo was taken. That way, I don't have a bunch of photos in my computer dated May 1, 1970. That said, I love this app! Will be digging through old photos and scanning them until they're all in digital form. This is the only app that I feel can do the job!!!
