The software itself is sound. (See my previous review) I've always been an evangelist to friends looking for a robust collage app that works on the tablet/smartphone. However I've now found that if you've never downloaded Pic Jointer before, they have converted what used to be a free download with in-app purchases into a predatory subscription service. Seriously, at $3.99 or $4.99 a WEEK - this app is over priced. Let me do the math for you, on the low end that's $15.96 a month or $207.48 a year. (Thats more than you'd pay for a year of Disney+ or Netflix — for a Collaging app that should NOT be a subscription service. Even Microsoft 365 which offers more practical use as a full fledged suite of apps is only $69 a year! . If you've never purchased/downloaded PicJointer before - skip it and look for alternatives that wont gouge you on price. (Previous users who already paid the one-time price are grandfathered in, exempt from the new subscription plan). . PREVIOUS REVIEW: I keep two folders related to photos on my home screen. One for photo apps, one for photo manipulation. Invariably I always need a simple way to combine multiple images and this app is my go-to choice. The best feature are not just the templates but the fact that you can change the aspect ratio after the fact, so the container can adapt to your photo vs the other way around. Pic Jointer is the best collage app hands down — be sure to activate the additional (requires a one time purchase) frames to get the most out of Pic Jointer.

I have had Pic Joiner for over 5 years and it is the best app for grouping pictures and making memories. Thank you Pic Joiner!

Complete ripoff at $2.99 a week. Basic functionality / basic app. Looks like a billing scheme to milk people out of a few bucks a week and hope they don’t notice.
