I really like being able to clean out multiple pictures… I just wish after saving photos it would not mark them again.

I tried another free app first, but it could not even find any duplicates. This free app found a little over 1,000. Yikes, I know I am not too organized here - just camera happy. It doesn’t just delete the duplicates after scanning, but groups each possible duplicates by their date with a good size thumbnail picture so you can quickly decide. When I was still unsure if it was a different picture, I just tapped on the thumbnail picture to enlarge it to its normal size. I could then slide my finger to the right and view the other duplicate or sometimes more than one other duplicate. I sometimes take several shots in a row and may want to keep more than one picture because of a slight difference in the person’s facial expression, for instance. Also, there is a safety feature built in that kept me from deleting all in the group unless I overrode it. To delete both duplicates, I had to confirm twice that I wanted to delete both pictures. Again there were times when I had even more than two pictures that were actual duplicates or just so close that I really didn’t want to keep all the shots I had taken. I am a little ashamed to say I had over 400 duplicates, but glad I could delete the ones now that I really didn’t want. ;) I did have to look at some pictures because I preferred one picture over the other when the two pictures were only slightly different. The app made it easy to do that as well. Occasionally, there were a few pictures that weren’t duplicates at all when I ran the scan, but I am definitely NOT complaining. It just took a little bit of my time to quickly look over the results from the scan. If I had tried to do it on my own, it would have been much more time consuming and probably would not have discovered all the duplicate photos. It also found all my screenshots so I could delete the ones that I no longer needed - like a snapshot of a purchase order that I had already received. Of course, the iPhone will group only the screenshots and you could delete from your Photo after instead. However, because it gives you the all thumbnail pictures in this app, it would probably be quicker. Anyway, I thought that as long as I was deleting duplicates, I might as well save time and space by deleting unwanted screenshots too. Much thanks to the developer of this wonderful app. Incredible that it is offered free. BTW, I don’t usually write reviews especially this long. I usually just give it a good rating if I like, but this app developer went well beyond my expectations even if it were a paid app.
