My review below is still relevant...but since getting an iPhone X, it’s kind of gotten buggy. Things I always did before with ease are having issues (1 major one is when adding an image to an existing canvas. It doesn’t work...can’t do anything but quit the app at that point. This is major for me...please fix my Phonto ? ——ORIGINAL REVIEW—— This is by far the best app for adding text to your photos available in the App Store. If that's what you're looking for, this is the one you should get. I've tried several and nothing comes close in quality, presentation and ease of use. Twice now I have spent 15-20 minutes writing the amazing review this app deserves, and both times when I clicked "submit" I am prompted for my App Store password and after I enter it, the review form is cleared and my review is gone… So I apologize to the devs but I must be taking too long writing about everything I love about the app...so I'm going to make this one brief.. -First of all, it's FREE! But you'll realize tossing the devs a buck is well deserved -Easy to use to add text to your photos quickly and save to your camera roll -BUT allows you to do so much more if you want to take your time and customize -Menus are very easy and well presented -Incredible font collection right from the start - and you can add your own -You can add other photos and objects on top of your base photo all individually adjusted like "layers" -Adjusting/moving your text or objects has awesome directional controls for precision -Has many similarities to Photoshop in its menus/options/style And there's a lot more. This comes off as an app that lets you type on top of your photos - and it is! But it's so much more than just that. As I said before, it's free, and to keep it free it has some ads, but these devs are so classy, they don't pull the typical free app move where they make the ads so annoying and in your face that you feel like you have to pay just to use the app in peace. Haha, that's the worst, and these devs must feel the same way because they don't put them in your way. Great app! Thanks!

I was recommended this app by another direct seller for making my own images for my fb page. It did not disappoint! Very easy to use! It's the only free app I've found that lets me make multiple text boxes. After a few months I upgraded to the $2 version and it's even better!

This app has made me have different looks on creating a thumbnail.Before that I was like screw it I’ll do the first thumbnail that shows up.Now I’m like yes I’ll creat a thumbnail for everything.

Free version does not allow text to be applied to any previously saved photos. You must first take a new photo within the app to then apply text. When you access photo roll it only offers to put a filter on photo, no text. Bloody useless.
