Very impressed

I am a school-based SLP, and I own two paid articulation apps. I was very surprised to see that this freebie holds its own with them! I actually prefer this app to one of the paid ones I have. I can't believe how many features this has--saved recordings, individual student data tracking, sounds broken down by position in word, etc. It really is a great tool!

Thank you

My 5-yr old has an extreme disarticulation. I just got an iPad & found this app. Wow! He loved playing it with me. Once he heard his own voice following mine, he tried so hard to improve. I'm going to ask his speech therapist if they have this. He can't wait to try it again. Imagine that, a learning app as a reward!

Fairly good 3.5 stars

For a free app this is great! There are so many words and the pictures are great! I use it mostly for articulation therapy and I do recommend it to any speech-language pathologists that are looking for something to try. The only thing that I see wrong with the app is that the blends are not consistent. When you select f blends for instance you will most likely have 3 that are not f blends. Also the pictures could be of more common objects but the app was probably set up for reading not articulation therapy.

As with the other SLPs I also love this free app. I do have two suggestions. First, the blends were mentioned and I agree. For example, the "sh" sound is not an "s" blend but a completely different sound. Second some sounds are not correct such as the "g" in giraffe. It should be in the "j" section (which doesn't exist) instead of the "g"s. Also many of the sounds for final "s" are actually a "z" sound. Other similar things but overall a great app and my students LOVE it!

Great app

I love this app for practicing articulation in various word positions. Granted, some of the words are obscure and some are classified incorrectly as far as speech is concerned (blends rather than discrete sounds). I just skip over those words that I don't like or feel aren't appropriate. You can't beat the usefulness of this app for FREE.

This is a really good app for articulation therapy, but you need to arrange some the pictures according to the speech sound vs the letter. For instance, final /g/ has the /d3/ sounds added to it (ex. Garage). You also have consonant blend sounds mixed in with the single speech sound cards.

Great app

Awesome

This really helped my sister speech and it just feels like a game

Appropriate for older kids too.

This app has clear photos of items without a lot of clutter. Students are able to tape their responses and listen to themselves easily. Then pictures are appropriate for preschool through adults.

This app is great. I record my production and my client using the record feature and use it to help my client discriminate bt accurate and inaccurate productions.
