Phone Rider is the first Knight Rider app available on App Store. This application is an emulator of Knight Industries Two Thousand’s voice module from the famous American TV show “Knight Rider”. It’s pretty straight-forward: you talk to the microphone and the voice module works according to your voice. What I really like about this program is how the voice module is made from scratch and looks neat, unlike most of similar emulators for the PC with graphics ripped from various source-pictures with MS Paint. However, there’s just one downside: the left and right light bars do not move all the way to the edge, making the module look somewhat idle when speaking loud. So I suggest setting the audio sensibility to a minimum. But that’s not a major problem. This application has a lot of potential. For example, KARR’s & KI3T’s voice modules can be implemented. Various KITT’s dashboard section can be made as well (I’d love to see it drawn in the same style as the voice box). Various KITT lines & sounds can be integrated (though I guess that may cause some copyright issues). Overall, “Phone Rider” is a must-have app for any Knight Rider fan. And it’s price is very reasonable for what it does. Good luck to the author and thanks for the first KR iPhone app ever!

What a great VOX!! The only downside is it doesnt work throught the MP3 player :(. I have so many files from TOS it's sad that i have to play them throught the car stereo and headset for this too work on my itouch. It looks great!! I would remove the volume bar at the bottom though or make it hidable or controlable with the side buttons. I am using this in my KITT replica :). Great work guys! Hope more stuff from the new KR series comes out as well as in the updated VOX a mustang scanner and HUD app from MasterKey :).

Great app! Jus need to get rid of the volume tab at the bottom, make the VOX full screen and maybe add more diff display options, but other than that great app! Big fan!! Love it and works great!!

With the addition of the Pilot VM and the KARR VM, this little app continues to be alot of fun. It takes your voice through the microphone and converts it into the VM animation in one of three states. Those upset that the App doesn't play your iPod library, that's the fault of Apple, not the developer. Though I hadn't though about it, but now that someone else mentioned it - having the animation "full screen" could be fun too. Might also be fun if you could rotate the device and see more of the "dash"! All in all, a great value for the price!

all this thing does is react to noise. Yes I liked the knight rider show, and I would have given this probably 3 stars if it stayed on instead of timing out. Before you buy, imagine this, you buy this app....which makes your dash look like kitt or karr from knight rider is talking to you (really cool at night) but it responds to noise so if your car is completely quiet you have to talk to yourself or turn on the music. Then, your Iphone times out and goes black, so you either have to touch your screen every 30 seconds or reopen the app. neat idea, needs alot of work to be worth 99 cents.

Phenomenal app. This is what the iPhone is all about. Probably my favorite app yet (and I have a lot). For the true Knight Rider fan.

This is just like a display of the sounds -- it's not an equalizer because you can't adjust it. Wish I could get my 99 cents back.

No movement any more! Anyone know of a good one that works? And yes I adjusted the sensitivity... Thanks for the efforts...I wouldn't even know how to start development so kudos none the less..
