I have a very specific blocking rule setup and while it shows that it blocked those calls, they rang through anyway, useless

This was a free offer, and I didn’t quite understand how to use it at first. I was entering the area code and the 3-digit prefix, and adding the number that way. No. Don’t do that. The number you enter must have four XXXX’s for the last 4 digits you want to block, (ie: 1-800-935-XXXX). If you’ve done it correctly, when you go back to your call log, you will see there is a ‘blocked call’ icon next to the number. To the developer who responded to my frustrated first review, thank you for the assistance. I appreciate it!
No way to verify functionality

I suppose it’s an ok app to have but it’s very simplistic and doesn’t offer much in the way of data/information. It has no data that would let the user know what numbers have been successfully blocked and how many times. In my experience it only works some of the time at best, which makes it an unreliable product. I have about fifteen or so numbers I’ve input and the app tells me it cannot block them all. It offers no details as to which or why it cannot block said numbers on my list. I’ve had spam calls from blocked area codes still come through even though I’ve blocked the area code and then the area code plus the 3 number prefix in separate entries. My conclusion: I can’t say that it doesn’t work but I cannot say that it reliably does either. Failed blocks and a lack of information in the app prove the old adage; You get what you pay for.

I was getting at least 10 spam calls a day. Before Phone Blocker I could only block each number knowing the spammer had hundreds of fake numbers. Phone Blocker allow me to block 1000 numbers at a time. Best program for blocking spammers!

I have 26 numbers in my list with the same prefix and area code and it hasn’t block a single one. The robo callers used a computer to generate new numbers everyday. If you want to help the issue you need to block similar numbers with the same prefix and area coded

Worked for about a week on both mine and my wife’s phones. Then more and more calls from the blocked area code that I get the preponderance of calls from started leaking through (same with wifey). At this point I’m leaning towards just deleting the app!

I keep entering these numbers from scam messages I’m getting from all these bookies I’ve entered the same number multiple times still get messages from them I don’t think this thing works at all. Thank goodness I signed up for it during the free period because I paid absolutely nothing for it and it’s worth exactly that absolutely nothing. Don’t waste your money.

I don’t even want to see the calls in my received list. I want them blocked and never know that they ever happened. That is what I would call a true phone blocker. This app is horrible. Settings I have still allows numbers to get through to me.
