Phoenix II has redefined the genre. Bullet Hell @ it's finest. Blew my mind clear across the room. Light years ahead of the competition. You will not find a better shmup experience in this market or the other and I mean that. The only other shmup that comes even remotely to close Phx II is Phx HD and Firi made that, too. Listen, Firi Customer Support is among the top 2 best support teams I've ever had the pleasure of contacting. Deserves medals. Lastly, just for the record, I don't write reviews. Firi didn't ask me to write this review. Phx II is so good that I felt compelled to. Sure, I could've sent em a nice email about it but, imo, what they've done here deserves public address. Firi, I know it ain't much but w/in this honest review is my full support and gratitude for what you guys have created for us. Nice work.

Amazing quality, reminiscent of simple games like Space Invaders. A huge plus of this is that it doesn’t use much data. I’m on 4G and the slower speeds never affected the game. I can’t get over how polished this game is, I just wish warp gate drops were a bit faster as well as more profits.

The gameplay is very fun and addicting, and so far seems very fair without forcing you to spend lots of money. I really appreciate this app being optimized for the third generation iPad Pro, along with the ProMotion 120hz display. It shows that there is effort being put into this game, that the developers actually care about user experience. Another nice thing to note is that this game works superbly well with the Apple Pencil for controlling your ship. Overall, awesome game and at a free price, it is definitely worth trying.

Phoenix II is one of my favorite games. It has a wide selection of ships all with unique attacks and abilities. This game also overkills the special affects. I recommend downloading especially if you like sci-fi. 10/10

Beautiful game, responsive controls

There are so many things to appreciate about this game. It requires more problem solving than typical bullet hell games due to the aura and zen mechanisms, so that makes each mission interesting. The graphics are amazing. There are lots of little details to appreciate like invader exhaust, invader turret animations, rotating fans, etc. The controls are very smooth, responsive, and intuitive. The large number of ships/apexes give the possibility of so many play-style experiences. Additionally, the devs are very active in the community and willing to help! Looking forward to the continued evolution of the game!
