As a parent it brings the frontier in education research to your child’s fingertips, a product that has been tested with millions of users and that has been designed with your child’s curiosity in mind. As a teacher it provides access to the forefront of curiosity-driven learning to your students on their very own phones, or classroom tablets. I am both a parent and teacher, and have been enjoying PhETs with my students and my children for over ten years. You will never regret bringing this wonderful app into your world.

Phenomenal educational tool

I have worked with PhET sims for years on informal and formal learning science environments and I have always found them a great learning tool. Now that it is accesible on iPads it makes it so much easier to incorporated in after school programs, k12 classrooms, and even at home. The other day I was trying to get some work done while taking care of my 3 year old nephew. Not easy! I gave him the iPad and put on some PhET sims and he was entertained for a good 30 minutes with the calculating areas sim. Now, he asks me to show him again. Great job guys!!!

Possible prospective student of the University of Colorado, just bought the app. For some reason, the registrar of videos and tools isn't loading as depicted on the preview of the app, just the table of contents, math, physics, etc. When you can, please try to fix this. Thanks.
Quality screen time for the kids

I am always looking for engaging and educational screen time options for the kids. They have loved "playing PhET", and I love seeing them engaged in exploring math and science! I'm so excited to have PhET now on an iPad App. The kids are 8 and it's so much easier for them to use the app, and it doesn't need to be connected to the internet! This is definitely going to come with us on our road trips. ;)

Great App

I got this app because I've used other web-based PhET simulation activities with my 4th graders. I particularly liked the Faraday simulation as an extension activity for our Magnets and Electricity science unit. I was excited to come across this app and didn't blink an eye at having to pay 99 cents for it. I've found many other simulations my students will like (my six year old came across it on my iPad and wouldn't put it down! He was fascinated by the Gravity/orbit simulation!)
