Very useful features

I’ve been using this as an indispensable aid for quite some time. While I also tend to think paper and pencil are the RPG player’s best friend, I’m not a purist, and this tool is too useful to write off. In the last week, I’ve discovered the bookmarks feature (which allows me to create folders of bookmarks for each campaign or adventure) and the spell index feature, which has significantly reduced the amount of work required to customize a character’s spell list. I agree that search can be hit or miss (it hits more than it misses for me), but I love everything else so much that I’m not going to knock a star for it.

As a vet I was able to take this app everywhere. From striking up spur of the moment games with friends I was able to construct and run a game easily and efficiently. Now that I am out of the military I still continue to use this app as a DM and a PC, there’s nothing better than getting the quick stats for a monster or being able to look up a spells parameters for my wizard. I’ve had this app since 2014 and I still love it! ONE WARNING! And it’s not a big one, just be careful when playing certain table top games! I’m a home brew D&D guy myself and a lot of times PFRPG will have Pathfinder rules that will conflict with my game! It’s no biggie though as you’ll get used to these quirks pretty quickly. Regardless it’s probably my favorite app!
