My wife is a musician and I am not. I recently joined a choir to develop my singing ability and to have one more thing in common with my wife. The problem is that I do not know how to read music so choir is normally an hour long series of embarrassing moments and lessons in humility. So I looked for an app that could help me hear the notes and improve. This app is fantastic. I didn't realize how completely incapable I was of hearing and recognizing notes until I tried out the beginner game. I couldn't tell at what note a sequence of three notes started and whether the pitch was going up or down. Surprisingly I am getting better. I am finally starting to be able to hear and recognize the notes. Thank you.
My son has absolute pitch which neither his parents has. This app confirms it.
It'd be even better if the iPhone version can be presented in horizontal mode too!
