My first grader loves this app, well placed questions and enough mini games to break up the learning and keep her engaged - great fun app!
First choice for 1st grade

What a fun way to learn & teach 1st grade school content, with adorable active penguins. My students love sliding little penguins to their matching igloos, bouncing them on a little trampoline, and feeling proud of the math and reading skills that they're learning. They also enjoy sending me penguin art. Great!

I *want* to like this game, but it's just not working. I sat down with my 6 year old to try out this new game...and neither of us could get it to work. The idea is to drag the penguin from the bottom to the top of the screen into 1 of 3 igloos to select the correct answer. The problem for us, is that the penguin gets stuck about a third of the way up the screen, so you cannot get your penguin up to an igloo to pick an answer. Frustrating. We spent 5 minutes trying to devise different ways of overcoming the stuck penguin glitch, but eventually just gave up. I hope the developer can fix this glitch. We'd like to be able to play the game.

Not sure I understand those other reviews this game works great - trick is you need to flick the penguin not drag it. Great content and enough mini games to keep it interesting! Love this game

We just bought this (my son loved it in school last year and wanted it at home) and AFTER I bought it, it let me know that the developer hasn't updated it and we can't even get it to open. That was a waste of $1.99.
