Postman327

I am from the USA and do not use metric on a daily bases this app looks like a great app would really like to be able to change settings. Unfortunately I will have to delete this app until they change the settings to include imperial sorry

Most accurate of the 20+ Tried!!!

Candy-Gatherer

(Updated 7/20/2015: this is still the best pedometer app! By the way, you can very easily convert the pounds/ kilograms/ inches/ centimeters by using a conversion app, such as Convert Any Unit, Have FUN!!!) This is the best!!! It is simple to use and VERY ACCURATE. I find it to be motivating. (I almost did not download it, because of the deceptive/ misleading app. logo. ) Out of the 20+ pedometer apps I downloaded, this was the only one that counts the steps accurately and consistently (it keeps on counting EVERY STEP as I speed up or slow down. ) This app. basically gives you the step counter, timer, calorie counter, distance counter, & speed counter. It also provides Audio Player, Map & Graph features (I have not used them yet). However, there are 2 CONs: (App creator, please reconsider..) 1. This app features a non-deleteable Data/History Log, which is not flexible enough for erroneously saved records, etc. 2. This app only offers cm & kg as measuring units, not convenient for the potential large number of app users in U.S. (I initially deleted this app because of this...) New users, just remember to go to the Settings first to set the Step Length (important for measuring the distance & steps covered), Weight (for calculating calories used), Sensitivity ( very important for correct step counts) & Icon w/Num of Steps. I had set the sensitivity at 3 (or 5 for when I'm on my treadmill and without shoes.) The Stop button pauses or stops the app. Hint: as for estimating the length of step, one of the apps that I initially downloaded automatically estimated my step-length according to my height. I then adjusted the step length to get a step count for each time my foot strikes the ground. Good luck and enjoy!
