There is also a percentile calculator for quick percentile lookup in case you just want to know the percentile of today's measurements.

# Data Storage

You can add as many children and measurements to the built-in database as you like. The data is encrypted – if you have a passcode on your device – meaning it is secure should you lose the device.

# Sharing

The measurements are directly added to the growth chart PDFs. You can email these PDFs, print them out (if you have an AirPrint enabled printer nearby) or share them with other means provided by iOS, such as storing into your Dropbox or box.com. You can do the same with a spreadsheet file containing all this kids on your device, or one file per kid. Finally, there is an export option so you can transfer all your data to a different device of yours or a colleague.

# Units

Whether you're used to the metric system and have all data available in centimeter and kilogram or whether you're in the US and using imperial units, Charts has got you covered. You can switch the units you want to use right from the keyboard and these units will be saved as your preferred units. You can also change units from a dedicated list when viewing your child's measurements.

# Included Charts

The app currently includes 40 official growth charts from these institutions:

• World Health Organization (WHO)
-- 0 - 24 months (weight, length, head circumference and weight for length)
-- 2 - 5 years (weight, height and weight for height)
-- 5 - 10 years (weight)
-- 5 - 19 years (height and BMI)

• Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
-- 0 - 36 months (weight, height, head circumference and weight for length)
-- 2 - 20 years (weight, height, BMI and weight for height)

# Requirements

To run this app you will need a device running iOS version 7.0 or newer.

Great app!
Meohmya

Have used this app for years for my daughter who has growth issues. Haven’t had any issues with it. I’ve even changed phones and as long as my phone was backed up (backed up to the cloud last time) I could re-download the backup with all the info saved.

Poor app for medical use
despondent endo

Does not calculate z-scores; requires you to calculate age and therefore subject to rounding errors and prohibits accurate growth velocity calculations.

It is ok
Angiesmom10

I have been using it for years and went to go input my new sons info to compare against his 2 older sisters and noticed my app was gone. While I took my son to his peds appt yesterday my parents let my toddler use my iPad and she deleted the app. Reinstall it to find all data lost and the only way to back it up is via email. Now if only I knew she would get the iPad and that I needed to make sure I backed it up recently, if ever...should be standard to back it up or have it on a set schedule. I have my oldest daughters stats down as I found the app after her but have lost my toddlers 2 years worth of info.

Perfect for car seat techs

If you regularly work with parents and have to predict when a child may outgrow a certain (class of) car seat, you NEED this app. Period.

Best growth chart app and It’s Free
itsA11you@

I tried other apps for charting my kid’s growth but they were glitchy or started asking for money. This app is great. It’s free and it does exactly what it needs to. Just input the birthday of the child then you input height, weight or head circ at different days and it charts them out for you on the CDC growth charts. It’s as simple to use as you can ever want. Highly recommended.

App doesn’t seem to be working properly
NickCinti

I’m having some trouble with the app. When using the calculator button to enter age and anthropometrics, the save button isn’t working. I wonder if the developer has stopped supporting it since there hasn’t been an update in a while.

Best free app to track baby growth
Vinayc

This is the best app to track baby height, weight and head circumference. It plots it on WHO or CDC charts and you can track more than one child. It is a basic app but does what i needed for free.

Family Practice MD and new dad

Great app. The only feature I'd request is the ability to sync data between devices.

Makes tracking growth much easier
Listing in NOLA

My son has cystic fibrosis, so tracking his growth is very important to make sure he is absorbing nutrients properly. This app has been great to help me visualize his growth trends, and recognize potential problems to address with his doctors.

Awesome
Penguin48y

Very cool app. Was able to add both my children, with pictures, and chart their growth over time on several different graphs. Does everything i wanted and then some!
