At first blush, the app is presented in an attractive and functional user interface. Buttons and options are well placed, easily accessed, with computations readily presented for analysis. If this were the only criteria upon which to rate it, I might have given it 4 stars for the first-out-of-the-gate issue. However, the exhaustive and repetitive disclosures, disclaiming responsibility and reliability, aroused my curiosity about its usefulness. In analyzing the Maximum Cruise Power settings I discovered that the app calculations diverged, lower as the temperature rises for torque, fuel flow and TAS, than presented in the POH. And no calculations are provided by the app for many of the "in-limits" flight regimes that exist in the POH. Obviously, it would be very helpful to have another option to the POH performance charts or the Simcom power setting matrix. And granted, I only evaluated the one area. But given the seemingly routine ability to plug in the known look-up-table database contained in the POH, I am rather discouraged about the app's overall usefulness.

Can only enter T.O. data, any other data entry crashes the app. Not very useful.

Crashing app
Cobra1951

Please update the app it's annoying that it keeps crashing

Almost there!
Skydisaster

This is an excellent first attempt at this app. It does need a few improvements though: - Passenger weights only go up to 300 pounds. It is unusual to have a passenger that weighs more than this, but it does happen. - The baggage weight only goes up to 265 pounds instead of the300 pounds that is allowed. - No accommodation is made for the extendable baggage net either which we have in one of our airplanes. - We need the ability to have multiple airplanes. We currently have two airplanes with different interior configurations, and are about to add another. Update: not only have none of original complaints been fixed, the app now crashes on iOS 6 any time I try to enter a baggage weight. Come on Pilatus!!!

Please fix the crashing!!

The app won't even open. Crashes before starting up!

Remove old version first
Lexpilot

Since no one from Pilatus has answered. I tried to delete the current app then install the new one. That worked fine so do not do the "update" option. Just remove and reinstall.
