The updates to this are terrible. My 3 year old used to love being able to go through all the shows available and pick out what he wanted. It helped him find new shows to like and made him able to do it himself. Now neither he or I can figure out how to use the app. It seems all you can do is watch live tv or download episodes separately in the App Store? This is a terrible change. We might as well delete the app now. UPDATE: There was a technical problem and the developer was kind enough to reach out to me. Thank you PBS my son is again very happy with the app.

My kids love this app. I am also glad to have it when we are out and they need a little entertainment.
Unable to update

My grandson loves this app. The most recent update has rendered it useless. The update won't load, and I get an error message saying "unable to download app". I can't open the app anymore. I thought I would delete the app and try downloading it again, but I can't delete it either as it is waiting to update. Am I the only one having this issue? Any suggestions?

We are a PBS home for sure, we love almost all of the shows for kids that are offered. All but one. I have no doubt that a certain character has popped into the heads of other parents watching this before I even name him. The one thing I wish this app could do is give me the option to remove Caillou from the lineup. Not only do I loathe that little monster from the depths of my being, it turns my three year old into a whining monster as well. We will be having a good day and when things turn, you can be sure to hear her singing "I'm Caillou, Caillou". I would pay good money for the option to obliterate Caillou while keeping the other shoes we know and love that don't affect my child's behavior in such a negative way. Please strongly consider adding this feature. For my sanity and the sanity of parents far and wide.

Thank you thank you thank you.!!!! You finally have made the live TV option available on the Apple TV. Also thank you so much for not needing a TV subscription. We do not have cable. My special needs daughter loves to watch PBS kids. The rest of the watch now apps need a TV subscription. Like watch Disney channel, watch Disney junior, watch nick and nick jr. but thankfully your app does not. Which is perfect because my daughter LOVES Daniel tigers neighborhood, and Arthur, wild kratts and splash and bubble. She loves it. So thank you again.
Apple TV app is broke

My kids love the PBS Kids app on the Apple TV. However since the last update it has failed to activate. I have removed the app and reinstalled and restarted the device with no luck. I contacted via the website and have not received a response.

I love this app and the tv PBS. This helps my son with learning and I have been a fan myself when I was his age. Keep up the updates and ty ?

Please put a lock screen my 2 year old always backs out of screen and its surely irritating

Our family loves this app. Especially with the addition of casting to our TV via Chromecast. We use it on our iPhones and iPad. One problem we experience: if we have a program castes to our TV, and the app is open on my iPhone, when I unlock the screen, it restarts/reloads the show that is playing without prompting. Quite annoying to the one watching it on the TV! Is there something I can change? Also, adding a feature to turn off the auto-play would be amazing. I want my kiddos to enjoy PBS programming without becoming TV zombies!
