A tad clunky but it works good. Like a cloud in your hand. Recommend rebooting iPhone if unable to capture wifi drive on first attempt. Thanks Devs, nicely done.
Works on most devices

Works well on original iPad, iPad 2, New iPad and iPhone 4S. It does not work on an iPod (app makes white screen). Tested in iOS 5.1 and 5.1.1. Remember this device does not transcode, so it will play any videos the iOS device can play natively. With that in mind, it works great (unless you have an iPod).

Basic functions are okay but cannot read RMVB and M4P files, for examples. Suggest to use similar app methodology like the iFile, when press and hold the filename for 2 secs, prompt to let user to decide which installed apps can be selected to open that file to offer more flexibility in opening up that file to read or to play.

You can play other file types (e.g. avi, wmv, mkv) from Gauntlet node using other apps (e.g. AcePlayer) that can stream via Samba. Connect to Gauntlet node wifi as instructed, then launch AcePlayer and add Gauntlet node as a Samba server. Select desired file from directory then download or play. Works with iPod Touch, too. Rated this a 3 because this capability should be part of Gauntlet app, not something you have to buy separately.

Does not work on iPod Touch 4th gen

It clearly states that it works on the iPod Touch 4th gen, but I've tried it on two of them and end up with a white screen. Very disappointed. Works well in iPhone 5, iPad 2, and Nexus 7. I'd give it 5 stars if they could fix it for the iPT.
Not bad but needs feature on iPad version

I finally got everything set up and my iPad and iPhone are connecting without problem. The iPad version is lacking a feature that the iPhone version of the software seems to have. Once I open a document on the drive, say a PDF, I can then click the "Open In.." button and see the other apps on my iPhone that can read PDFs, like DropBox, GoodReader, iBooks, etc. On the iPad version, the "Open In.." button doesn't seem to be available, so I can't open the file in a different app on it. Please make the iPad app have the same functionality as the iPhone and I'll be a happy camper.
