Partly Sunny has been featured in Apple’s “New Apps We Love”, MacStories, AppAdvice, and Lifehacker.

Partly Sunny “introduces a robust, beautiful new way to view weather information. […] What’s immediately striking about Partly Sunny’s design is that it feels designed to belong in iOS. It’s an app that feels built by Apple if the company decided to make a massive iterative change to its own stock Weather app.” – Jake Underwood, MacStories

“If you are looking for minimalism in your weather app, then Partly Sunny will satisfy your cravings. […] Partly Sunny offers the information you need in a concise and flexible way.” – Christine Chan, AppAdvice

Inexcusable for a subscription app

Can AccuWeather be added as a data source?

Great App
CLH-57

I love the Partly Sunny weather app. Some of the awesome features about this app include: The app is easy for me to navigate through it, I have all of my family's out of town weather on one screen, The day-by-day graph is handy as it plots the high and low temps for my work week, The pollen count is helpful for my allergy needs, Try it, you will find that it is the most accurate weather app around. You won't be disappointed. The radar that has been added is a welcomed addition to me, especially when I am traveling.

Beautiful interface but horribly inaccurate
raist3001

Title says it all. Interface is great but the forecasts are always horribly inaccurate. Many times for my area the app will forecast 3-5, sometimes 10 degrees higher than the actual temperature. Unfortunately, consistent inaccuracy has lead me to no longer trust the app. I deleted Dark Sky for its inaccurate forecasts. Pity this app uses Dark Sky for its data. In comparison, AccuWeather is highly accurate and my go to weather app for the moment.

Perfect

Strikes the perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality.

My favorite weather app.

It's the little things that separate Partly Sunny from other weather apps for me: •Long pressing the hourly chart to choose an additional metric when I need it •The easy-to-use location management •The clever additions of pollen information for allergy sufferers and your local NOAA page for the most accurate snow precipitation forecasts • Swiping up or down with two fingers to change from light mode to dark mode •The excellent Today widget that gives you everything you need, one swipe away •The clearly considered design language, clean aesthetic, and super-smooth navigation •The well-implemented alerts I could go on, but I'll spare you. Yes, there are plenty of weather apps. I've tried most of them. Partly Sunny does exactly what I want a weather app to do though: it quickly gives me the vital information I need in a clean and precise manner, every time. No more. No less. No fuss. Try it. You'll like it.

Good App, Bad Icon!
Ishmael47

Please roll back the icon. Before it was nice and clean, now it looks like it was designed by Fisher Price. Why do this?? ???

Needs better radar!!!
SCLEV99

Great app, intuitive and clear but needs a radar function, not a link. Link is to a non-mobile site where you can search for radar.

The Best Weather App & Widget
Kermetajb

I couldn't be happier to have left yahoo weather. I was so tired of the ads and the general lack of development. Enter Partly Sunny. It has filled all my needs for a weather app - great design, reliable, and detailed widget. However, it's not an over-bloated app. It's simple and beautiful. Also the developer is super responsive and continues to fix bugs and make improvements. I definitely recommend this weather app.
