future of vr education
I’m still trying to comprehend the significance of my experience of Pantomime Playground. It's the world’s first “immersive" VR/AR game - not only NOT REQUIRING a head mounted display but also enabling as many people with iPhones, iPads, Macs and other devices to share and interface with the same fantastic reality and associated physics from the perspective of each device - some new form of social VR. I found myself shooting spinning coins, exploding cans, and floating gravity bombs…across three screens/devices simultaneously, each sharing the same world from different perspectives..all without having to mess what’s left of my meager hair. Trying to describe this to my friends, the closest I can get is "Pong on Acid." I can’t wait to see where this goes in the hands of killer developers who have the vision for hits. Five stars.. for where this immersive HMD-less future of VR is going.

Just wow! This app is “all that.” Forget angry poultry. The endless possibilities astound.

I am impressed and happy to play around in here. I can't wait to see how this moves into a useful tool for games and narrative exploration.

Playground offers a fascinating, immersive 3D experience. The opportunities for networked games with other app users are amazing.

I am still learning what this app can do and how I am going to best use it. Play is amazing.

just a tech demo... that I'm sad to say just doesn't wow, and has many rough edges. was hoping for something magical, but was disappointed. rotating your device to view a virtual world, then tapping/dragging the screen to do stuff, is awkward to perform. basically this app proves it's an uncomfortable way of interacting with virtual or augmented worlds. the invisible menu button in the middle if the screen, eluded me for a long time too - which was frustrating.

Utterly magical — more 3D than any app out there because it’s first person. I love knocking and luring bugs off the edge of the table and hearing them squeal. And of course squishing. As the bugs grow giant it gets tricky. Connecting to a Mac makes it feel like I’m on a game console swinging a Wii. Most fun I’ve had with any app.
