Every 5 levels increases the player's rank. A pseudo army ranking is used from Recruit to the final General Pane in the Glass.
Achievement Award coins are given at the start and one is earned for getting to a new rank. The coins can be used to retry a round, or knock out a non-matching pane from the top window to help the player get to the next round.
Multiple players can be added and each player's progress will be recorded for next play.
Players names can deleted or reset to the beginning.
There are 3 difficulty levels (each making it slightly harder to get through the rounds).
End of game achievements get recorded in the players list.
I just finished playing and I have to say it is very challenging. I like it even though I wasn't able to go all the way trough. I'll keep on trying...
I love games that test my vision and reaction time, and this app does great things for sharpening your ability to quickly discern not just color but also hue and saturation. The game has also changed in that you cannot simply focus on the right pane and get rid of all the other ones - the panes change places and you have to remember or recalibrate after each pane is knocked out. This, in my opinion, only makes the game more challenging and fun! I also recommend Monkey Rescue from this developer. It's a game of color-matching, memory and strategy.
