When in a chat room and I turn on the camera it just shows black. Swapping camera to front or back doesn’t make a difference. Reinstalling the app didn’t help. I’m running the latest version so don’t tell me to try that. Don’t you test the developer betas so your app is ready for the latest release?
Ridiculous photo cropping

Few things get any more absurd than paltalk’s photo cropping system. It takes all sorts of ridiculous maneuvering just to get the portion of the photo you want on your profile. Your only options are to either crop out crucial sections of the photo you want or edit the original photo so the box fits in. I just made 6 or 7 cropped photos to fit it in. Then you have to crop those crops because the file limit will be exceeded. What a joke. I reduced the rating from 3 to 2 on this because once again I just struggled just to get a block of text through the little cropping box. This app itself isn’t *bad* but it also has plenty of problems. Give me a break here. Paltalk isn’t a bad company but you’ve got to be kidding me if everyone there is satisfied with a level of mediocrity. And it has had plenty of time to make everything sharp and hasn’t gotten it done. At the very least please fix how profile photos are done. That’s probably the most important thing and everyone is probably frustrated with the ridiculous little crop box which forces out key parts of the photo they want to show people. And I’m ok with ads, even a lot of ads, but an ad every 3rd photo is extreme. You can only go through 2 photos before getting another ad. That’s not going to make me want to buy a subscription that’s going to be another thing, like the photo cropping, which makes me hate paltalk.
