Cool

I like it. The design is nice. I would like the ability to choose different paper selections. I would prefer white paper over the tan color that doesn't really match the ret of the app.

Pretty Good

This app works well except you should be able to name note books and I can't seem to be able to delete any old unwanted notebooks.

Beautifully Designed

Love the design of the app but the red tab advertisement on every notebook absolutely kills me. The upgrade should at least give an option to hide this. I like the simplicity of the app too. I purchased the upgrade and found that I can only upload square images to my notes (Really? I know we live in an Instagram age but how about an option to upload portrait and landscape images). Another key feature missing is the ability to arrange the table of contents manually. This is a pretty huge one for me. Not being able to organize my pages the way I need them to be is pretty frustrating. Not having this feature leads me to believe that this is more a journal app than anything else since every page is sorted by date. So if you're looking for a simple journal app this might be for you. But if your looking for a note taking or all purpose writing app, then keep looking.

Not a bad sequel...to one of the best

GoGo Soda

I bought the original P&Q 1.0 App and enjoyed it. If you were a fan of the old version, this one will fill the void you have had since it left...The original was head and shoulders above the others in its category in simplicity and beauty. This version, while it isn't as visually captivating, is a great start and good sequel. I was hoping version 2.0 would keep the book stack startup screen of the old version but they went with a more flat filing system which is ok but not as awe inspiring as the original... A lot of the old functionality carried into this version in a more simplistic way. Not a bad start...hopefully just the beginning

Very difficult and non-intuitive

I found the interface to be so annoying and buggy that I just couldn't use this at all. It looks pretty, though.

Really Needs Some Work

I've been using this app almost every day. I am a big fan of P&Q cases, own one, and have given them as gifts. I hope the app's problems don't end up being a problem for the case company's quality-constructed image. The app is "pretty" in a very familiar P&Q way. After it's opened, though, it's a little bit of an enigma and very unpredictable. The buttons, graphics, and commands are spare to the point of confusion. IF the app "worked" (did not randomly or predictably crash; and/or unpredictably not offer a cursor and keyboard; and/or not-save entered text and/or cause one to unintentionally delete a range of pages instead of a single page), one could credit the lack of options to some sort of purist aesthetic. As it stands, it neither works dependably nor offers many options. Zen users will appreciate its lack of attachment to their entered text.

Gorgeous but...

MattFriend

It's a very beautiful app. Such a minimalistic design and format but do I really have to pay extra for basic things like being able to put pictures in my notes and change the cover of my notebook? I already paid for the app. I feel like I got ripped off.

No landscape mode, really?

whynotmomdotcom

The main reason I want this is to be able to quickly hot done my days events & thoughts in a journal a format. I can't believe it have to do this in portrait mode. I refuse to buy an app that doesn't enable this on my phone for note taking. Way to cumbersome & inconvenient.

Really?

The app has some bugs. And I guess that's ok. And it works fine until you have a Lot of notes. The. As soon as it opens the screen goes either only tan or completely back. That's it. I can't use it anymore. It just blanks out. I'm switching to Evernote, even when all my cases are pad and quill. Sorry DEBUG ASAP
