It is acceptable as a free app as there is advertising all over the screen and it is very basic. Would not be worth paying for. Background also makes reading text more difficult then it needs to be without adding anything to the app.
Wish I never updated... IP address and Advertisements... I will put up with ads if it's free, which it is! Shows memory free, which is pretty much what I wanted it for.
Just exactly what I was hoping for: all the info that lack of a file manager leaves me without. Now I KNOW when to be worried about space, rather than just guessing. Thanks!
Would like to see a app size feature. See how much space it's actually occupying. Maybe there's an app already for that I missed
This app is just what I was looking for (memory usage data). I took a star off for ugly in-app adverts and another for an important missing feature: It would be nice to email the data. (I know I can take a screenshot and email that, but just emailing the data as text would be handy.)
Very useful app. Shows all the information on one screen that can be found elsewhere but with great inconvenience. Thanks for the free app and who cares about a few adds, have to pay the piper.
Nice app but I have no idea what "wire memory" is. Anyone have any idea what that is?
I wanted a way of seeing how much free space I have, which this does. Pefect!
UPDATE: Still the best of its type that I have found for the iPad. Works well, no issues. Some of the lables could be more clear (e.g. "Wire", still not exactly sure what that term means). Overall, very well done. Not sure where any negative reviews come from (I see there are some 1 star ratings). My guess is that they really didn't need a utility like this. Any techie will be very happy with it. They have reduced the amount of ads and the ads are very unobstrusive (kudos to them for reading feedback and reducing the amount). For a free tool, the way they implemented the ads to pay our way is very well done (nothing 'in your face'). I would give it a 5 star rating if: 1) the background could be changed to something that is less distracting allows the text to be more readable (they do read fine now); and 2) they update the labels or have a small help legend for the current ones (e.g., you hit 'i' and one of the choices is a legend that has one liners on some of the labels). Great job! P.S. I'm often amazed at the way people rate free apps and how overly critical they are. If the app functions for its stated purpose and its free, as long as it is useful, it should not be rated as critically as an app that is fee based. In this case, there is no real good alternative, paid or otherwise. The app works as stated. Doesn't support landscape, for an app like this, it is not necessary. Works well and shows the basics necessary. Some of the terms used could be improved (e.g. Inactive = idle, active = in use, wire = wireless? System? Uses the most memory, guessing it is system?) Also, would be nice if we knew the thresholds? E.g. my memory is about 14.25MB free.. not sure if that is good or bad (not disk free, but memory). KUDOS!!! I'm sure updates will make it even better. If your a techie or just like to know what's up with your iPad, it works great and its free! :)
