Update 3/19/18: thanks to the developers’ prompt response, the very fair price of the app (you guys could’ve gotten away with a slightly higher price IMO), and the fix for what was really my only complaint, I’ve updated my rating to 4 stars. I’ll download and use it again and even come back and make it 5 if all goes well, in which case I’ll also pay the (as I always said) very fair one-time price for premium features. Thanks for reading. Before I even had 12 items in my first packing list, I had been interrupted twice asking me to pay the $2.99 for premium features. Which I originally intended to pay since it seems like a good app and a fair price, but twice within less than the first 10 minutes of use? C’mon guys. Then, to change quantities for items on the list is considered a premium feature! I’d rather have just paid $2.99 up front out of mere curiosity based on the high ratings. Before 15 minutes of use, I had been assaulted three times asking for $2.99, which is EXACTLY what made me decide to NOT pay that perfectly fair price and instead delete the app. Developers, you have a nice app here, but you will lose sales with this appproach.

I just decided on this packing app because of all of the categories and the simplicity of the design. After working with it for a little while, I paid for the upgrade to be able to add notes to individual items I’m packing and to put the lists in alphabetical order. So far I’m very pleased.

This is the perfect packing list app! It's simple, clean looking and easy to use. It has all the features you need to quickly create a list and check the items off. It's so easy to add items, move them around and edit them. The $2.99 in-app purchase to be able to add the number of the items is well worth the money (and I really appreciate that they let me try it for free to figure that out). I've had another pro packing list app for years that I never use because it's ugly and difficult to add items. I am so glad I found this app and you will be too!
Helpful but room for improvement

I like having the list handy and having ideas of what to pack. However.... it doesn’t export very nicely if you want to email it or text. It should be a document to export but it doesn’t.
Wish it had toggle for amount per article

Wish this app had a toggle for an amount per article so it was easier changed on later trips. Wish it had a print option so I could make one list and print 4 copies for my kids. For now I put it in notes then print, but wish I could do it right from app
The Pro version shows ads!

Can't believe the Pro versions has ads. I despise apps that show ads / track user behavior. I thought the "Pro" version would been ad-free since there's also a "free" version but as soon as I added a new item or two to a list, I got a *full-screen* ad that had to be dismissed... and it wasn't a one-time thing. It happens regularly. Very disappointing since otherwise this seems like a pretty nice packing list app.

This looks like a simple app to use, but I deleted it after only 5 minutes. Too many ads I had to wait for just to make a list.

Good app for now. Some useful enhancements would be strike-through text on the category when all items from that category have been packed. Also an dictator of how many items remain overall or in each category.
