I purchased the extra effects. Why can't you add effects to certain parts of songs before you save them??? I can't "be a DJ" while I'm driving down the road???

AWESOME App

Incog.Nito

August Review Update: I am buried in awesome music. This is by far my favorite app. It's hard for me to imagine what it would take to knock this out of the cherished four spots at the bottom of my iPhone screen. ----------- I used this app for a couple years, but had only listened to an occasional playlist from someone, and mixed a couple of my own playlists. In late 2016, I started messing with it more, and have since fallen in love with it. Once you link your Spotify account, you have access to everyone's imagination when it comes to selecting songs and themes. I was bored with finding my own music on Spotify, but now have immense amounts of great music at my fingertips. I think my early mistake, was not trying enough different playlists. Once you find something you enjoy, check out the person who mixed it. That can lead you to other people who are posting similar music. I essentially do not use any other music software these days. Pacemaker has become my standard app or playing and finding new music. My only advice, is to experiment long enough to reach an informed conclusion. While the interface is great once you understand it, it wasn't immediately intuitive for me. Slide up, slide to the side, try some other things - you will get used to it quickly.

Great... except...

Outstanding app for mixing music without a doubt. Limitations does not allow you to export your work.

Loved this app...until the latest update!

Great app till the latest update. Now all the transitions are off on my mixes. Seems like there is a delay from the time you press the transition button to when the next song in the mix is played. It used to run seamlessly until this latest update. Hopefully this can be fixed because I really loved this app! Great app but until this is fixed I'll have to rate it lower.

Mix algorithm has changed

Sample411

I've used this app since one of the earlier versions and I've noticed that songs not only auto-mix much more poorly than before, but even manually sliding the Crossfader point causes terrible mixes. Case in point, Jump by Mac Miller and A Place Like This by Majid Jordan used to mix beautifully but now it either sounds like a rushed mess or a quick 2 beat crossfade. My theory is that the developers purposely hampered the efficacy of the mixing algorithm to be able to force users to pay for Pacemaker+. Not cool guys.

Cool idea

But not able to connect Spotify to pacemaker , i have a premium account with Spotify . But pacemaker doesn't seem to be able to verify/ connect just give an error. Please fix

Needs Auto Analyze Badly

capitanpano

Would give five stars but having to analyze your songs one by one really drops the rating on this potentially amazing app

I barely have any songs to work with because I don't have Spotify, I have Apple Music... And can you make it so you're able to change the volume of a track, not just as it's fading out or in. Being able to mess with the gain, hi, mid and low on tracks would be nice as well. Oh yeah, and how do you export music? Please tell me that's an option.

Excelente app

Faltan algunos ajustes considerables para iPhone, y a veces sin más para que se cierra dejando el mix a medias, bueno en fin es parte de la diversión pero como herramienta está bien para crear listas de preparación de un set bueno para cuando te toque pinchar.
