We need to keep reading. This app is the perfect solution to support local libraries and have access to ebook and audiobook content. I grew up listening to books on tape my parents checked out from our library. This is a modern twist on a timeless classic...way of reading. Share the love - tell a friend.

I am so pleased that the Libraries have offered audiobook options I like overdrive but I do have problems with it. Lately it has not been syncing as well as it used to. I also wonder if others have had the program jump to a different place when the reading is in progress. This mainly happens on my iPhone Nonetheless I would feel quite deprived without Overdrive.

The ereader makers don’t tell you that almost every thing they want to sell you is available for free through Overdrive and your library. What could be better than free books sent to your device in an instant, while browsing the catalog from anywhere? Love this app.

The search function is great. Everything works consistently. And you get free books! From your own public library!

The most important aspect is that this app is that it reliable and provides 2x playback. No complaints here and I am thankful for its functionality. The downside is that it is not easy to use. Clicking on the search icon does nothing. Through experience you find that you have to click on the search field and not the icon. Most importantly, a book placed on hold that is automatically borrowed for you does not appear in any list. You have to manually search for the book again to add it to your mobile app’s bookshelf. Definitely room for improvement.
Great resource for audiobooks

This is such an excellent resource. I find less time than I'd like to read books these days, so it's nice to be able to listen to a book while doing yard work or on a long drive. Connected very easily to my local public library and the tools to bookmark and gradually speed up or slow down the narration is fantastic for getting through those 1000 page epic fantasy books.
