Stopped Working

Stopped working several months ago- opens blank, with zero data or text.iPhone 5s 64g. Stopped working before or after the new iOs update on ~Sept 18. When I open it now, it just has a blank screen of no data, and will never load. there were already places to improve it. if it isn't even going to work, i'll be moving on.

Get rid of them. They are a terribly ugly distraction that takes away from the beautiful simplicity of the app.

You'll know quickly how bad the UI is. Just try to flip back from the 24-hour panel. Hint: use the unreadable grey icon in the upper-right corner. Still, it's the one free app forgetting Forecast.io info. Hey, why don't I just make the Forecast.io homepage a link from my phone's home screen? It can't be aesthetically worse than this. Uninstalling, I expect... [Update: 5 minutes later] Uninstalled. Real Forecast.io easy to install, so much prettier and (more importantly) more functional.

VoiceOver user.

As long as I want to know the weather for my current location, the app works well with VoiceOver; but, if I try to get the weather for another city that I've bookmarked--and might be traveling to the next day--it continues to display my current location instead. Is this strictly a VoiceOver bug, or is it a general problem? The app developers do not seem to be accepting e-mail concerning customer service/tech support. Now it is several days since I wrote the first part of this review, and I just discovered that it still hasn't "sent". I try to send it, and it will not leave my screen. Not only is Backlight not accepting my query, but App Store isn't accepting my review, either.

Good forecasts. But doesn't store data for retrieval when offline. Vaguely displayed "back" button. 12 hour forecast is called "next _24_ hours". If you need 24+ hourly forecast use weathercaster. That gives hourly for the next 48.

The Blind Dude

A no-fuss, crisp, clean app that delivers accurate information without the usual distractions in other weather apps. Would like to see the advisories display the details inside the app instead of launching a browser.

thank you for including blind users who make use of voice over for accessibility. The voiceover support here is fantastic. Much appreciated. I own many weather apps but this one really takes the cake for simplicity yet yielding the right information at the right time. I would suggest that you consider adding a paid version that would have real-time alerts of impending precipitation much like another popular app called dark sky.
