Using the app
cwjc1

The app was very easy to use, the messages were easy to adopt or compose. However, data compiled for my contacts had not been updated and was more than two weeks old.

Doesn’t work
CeeCee123

Apparently it steals your contact info so I loaded it on my IPad. I got through 2 set up screens for name & phone # and now it’s frozen and won’t let me past that screen

Ease of use

This seems to be a straightforward tool to use.

Awesome app that helps you reach so many people!!

serious problems
tallyreepeachchild

This app as a whole is great, an easy way to engage in the civic process, easily understandable.HOWEVER there are no ways to label messages as seen, or complete. messages that have not been reported are right next to those that have. it’s impossible to keep track who has been dealt with and who are active conversations. literally awful. i’m going crazy

A friend told me download it

Really easy app or use and super cool to do actions and mobilize a progressive community of people on it. I like using the app in the time of Covid-19 because it’s good to stay connected with friends and family who care about the same things as me.

Volunteer
Artist-Mom-Teacher

Easy to use, fast, several ready-to-use messages, but able to customize or write original texts. I got lots of responses. Was able to help some people who were grateful and could weed out non-supporters. Felt like I made a difference.

I’ll way of staying informed and educating others in the community.

Easy to use, a few bugs

OutVote is basically good. I can’t get it to rotate into landscape mode on my iPad. Also sometimes it doesn’t list all responses in inbox.

Hard to read and font size not adjustable.
outgoingmouse

The font size is small and very narrow, which makes it hard to read. Causes and organizations are limited to really big ones around the country, but not comprehensive. Asked for my full name and number, which I didn’t give and prefer NOT to give on a political app. No directly-related Black Lives Matter causes that I could find, but that might be my own user error. Disability causes are next to 0 and this is very problematic considering the resurgence of disability advocacy. This has promise but I think it needs a lot more work before it can be considered useful to a large extent.
