After a slumber of a million years, you wake up on America, a planet colonized by humans who fled planet Earth. In your quest to find your people, you’ll set off on a galactic adventure where you’ll meet a host of colorful characters and visit unimaginable locations.

Out There Chronicles is a unique adventure set several million years before Out There. Where do the Arks come from? What are the Cubes? Fans of the original game will find answers to some questions, but others will remain a mystery.
You’ll also meet various alien races and get the opportunity to learn more about their people… If you can master their language, of course.

In this universe that is so far from your own in distance and in time, a sharp mind and an instinct for survival are your only weapons. Friendships can be forged and ancient rivalries re-emerge through your encounters with almost-human and less-human races. Will you be able to distinguish friend from foe?
As in the original game, a single human is unable to face the forces of the universe alone. Achieve your goals by exercising diplomacy when needed, and seizing opportunities when they present themselves.

Written by FibreTigre, author of the original game, Out There Chronicles offers an epic story that will delight science fiction fans in search of new experiences.
Brilliantly illustrated by top French SF artist, Benjamin Carré, and equipped with a simple interface, Out There Chronicles will take you on a journey of adventure, even if you’ve never played a video game before.

Crashes

Even with the new update if you make a certain choice the game still crashes I want my money back!

Unbelievable Space Odyssey, Immersive

Enjoy this because things that take you away this much are rare and hard to find. For readers of science fiction who love space operas, this is an unbelievably rich, grippingly-paced, can't-put-down story / RPG. The music and atmosphere are explosively enveloping - use headphones. I've enjoyed this more than any movie, sci-fi novel, game, or TV show I've come across in the last year. Can't wait til episode 3.

Irritated

The update didn't fix the unavailable options at all it just makes it appear over and over such as asking if the war is over

Needs an update

I loved out there and this seems like a game with a good story, but with constant crashes it's basically unplayable. Please fix

Not playable currently

I have an iPhone 6S. Whenever I tried the speech dialogue "the war is over?" The app would crash" I'm now talking with the president and it crashed again, this time however when I click continue game it just crashes, I open it again, crashes. I absolutely loved out there and so far I'm loving this game as well!! Please fix this issue so I can enjoy this awesome story. Update # 1: I started a new game but when selecting the same game crashing options as before the app does not crash but will instead shrink the writing of the question and then repeat it in long script, it's completely not playable. Which again is disappointing because it's really got me interested. Hopefully the next update will solve the issues...

Game is broken

I'm a big fan of Out There so was really looking forward to playing this but the game is horribly buggy. That's pretty unacceptable for what's basically a text adventure/interactive novel. While I didn't get crashes like another reviewer, many of the dialog choices create an endless loop where you keep asking the same question and won't let you progress without quitting and trying again with a different dialog option. Thought it was a fluke at first but it happens with at least one option in every dialog tree within the first 15 minutes of the game. There's no point in playing if big dialog choices are unavailable because of a bug. I'll give it 2 stars though because I believe mi-clos will fix this soon and I'm compelled by the story to keep playing. Just wish I could actually read all of the dialog.

Keeps crashing.

Good franchise, but lousy attempt at a game.

Disappointed
Em um

The graphics are lovely and the premise was promising, but it's so glitchy! Choose the "wrong" action/dialogue and it just flickers on screen until you're forced to close the application entirely and try again. I'm so disappointed.
