Best game!!

dancegirl14?

I love the Osmo games even though I am ten. There are no glitches at all. I recommend you get this learning app.

Too expensive for the app to not load

None of the OSMO apps are working. Yes I have the base, yes I bought all the needed accessories... it was EXPENSIVE, way too expensive for the app to decide it doesn’t want to load!

Beware of Predatory Pricing

H to the Chi

I love Osmo, it’s a great concept that combines screen time with tactile, real world play. Here’s what I don’t love: Tangible Play know it has a good thing so it keeps jacking up the prices. During the COVID lockdown they undoubtedly saw a huge surge in purchases. Rather than lower their prices to make their product more accessible to more parents, they had the temerity to raise their prices to the point where buying every set will cost you hundreds of dollars. Worse, they have recently begun the practice of charging existing customer yo “upgrade” whenever they release a new app. This “upgrade” costs $25 an app and up, an unheard of pricing scheme on the App Store where at MOST apps cost $7.99. And you can bet that their executives are plotting how to turn to a subscription pricing model. I don’t begrudge this company for trying to maximize profits, but this is to the point of price gouging. Parents are already paying $50-$100 for a box of little plastic pieces, but on top of this they need to pay an additional $25 each time a new app comes out. I for one will not be rewarding them by paying these obscene “upgrade” fees. A kid out of college who studied marketing knows that you achieve market penetration by pricing your product fairly, not gouging your early adopters once you’ve “trapped” them. It is only a matter of time before cheap ripoffs from China come to the market—Osmo had best learn not to p*ss off their loyal customer base now before that happens.

Love it

It’s perfect

Osmo World, the game you play if you don’t have Wi-fi!

Pancake Warrior?

It’s great for a road trip and when I just don’t have Wi-fi or the Internet! I don’t really use it to launch into apps by Osmo,…right now at least. I use it to play, and I can play with the flower and the arcade block breaker game that MIGHT be a “easter egg”! Anyways I love it this is my rating: 7️⃣0️⃣. Bye! XOXO?&?!

NOT SUPPORTED

I just downloaded the app from my iPhone App Store and when I went to launch it says “No longer supported by iPhone”. How am I supposed to use???

Does not work with new iPad

JKeesRN

So I purchased the coding and little genius kits at Target. Spent around $180 total. The box has a little fine print in the corner that says it’s designed for iPad, so then I went to the Verizon store and purchased a new 10.2 iPad to go with the programs. After installing the apps, I tried to launch them and it just says “Sorry, your version of the iPad is not supported.” That is very frustrating. I specifically bought an iPad for this program. Fortunately it does seem to work fine with my daughter’s Amazon tablet. The program itself has been fun so far, I just wish it had better support for newer hardware or be labeled more clearly about which iPad models are supported. I had no idea it would be an issue until I purchased and installed everything

GREAT
