This app has helped me a lot to learn the basics of organic. I have the free version, but now want the full one!

It's not a bad app. It had some really good conceptual information but the whole app is just...spotty. I mean, there is a whole tutorial on NMR spectra and how to read it, but what about MS or IR spectra? We use all three at my campus (and it's not that big) so I could have used a tutorial on all three major analysts tools used in Org Chem lab. Really, what this app needs is some good org chem flash cards. I didn't find the ads intrusive. Maybe it was fixed.

Especially for a free app. It's missing a lot but I assume that would be included in a paid app. Good start, though.

Missed significant information. Set up in PowerPoint-like format. Nice as a general overview, perhaps suitable as a "refresher" but, as an orgo student, no the best study aid.

Some of the information is incorrect. For example, it says that strong acids have large pka's. The trend for increasing atomic radius is wrong too. These were only the ones I noticed so there could be more. Not bad for an iPhone app though I suppose

Right off the bat I found a significant error. Nucleophilicity decreases left to right across a row of the periodic table, not increases. For example, carbanion is more nucleophillic than N - anion, which is more nucleophillic than an O- anion, which is more nucleophillic than a fluoride ion.
