The game is aimed at secondary school students, but is just as much fun for anyone wanting to learn about elements and the periodic table.
All known chemical matter is composed of elements. In this periodic table 109 elements are identified alongside some of their properties and uses. Many of these elements form the building blocks of the minerals and fossil fuels that are extracted and processed for our everyday use.
How to play the game:
1). Tap one of the three levels to challenge you.
Level 1 is the first 20 elements in the periodic table
Level 2 is the first 30 elements in the periodic table
Level 3 is all the elements in the periodic table
2). Drag a floating element symbol and draw a path to its correct place on the periodic table. The element will then follow the path you have chosen. If the element follows a path to the correct location it docks, otherwise it returns back to the floating area. Do this for all remaining floating elements.
Careful to not make floating elements collide!
3). When all of the floating elements are in the correct location on the periodic table that game is finished. If you have the best time you can enter your name on the leader board.
Other features:
There is a settings button on the top right hand corner. In settings you can reduce or increase the speed of the elements moving along their path which might improve your time.
If you need some more clues or want to see more information about the elements close up, single tap OR double tap an element in the periodic table.

Great way to learn the periodic table!

This is an amazingly fun way to learn the periodic table. You drag floating bubbles to match up the element name with the position, and even if you're a complete chemistry n00b (like myself) you'll find yourself naturally learning while you have fun - and race to beat your best score! :] This is a must have app for anyone trying to learn the periodic table!

This simple free app is what the Ipad was made to deliver. After 2 times through the first level my 5 year old started matching the correct symbols to the proper element. Two suggestions / requests. For children not yet able to read can we have an option to have the element's name voiced audibly when it is tapped on? Also, for the same small children, can we have a back round music option or maybe some simple sounds for each element - like a balloon pop for helium for example - when the symbol bubbles land correctly? Thanks for your great app.

Excellent! My students loved this game, loved competing with each other for a faster score, and in just two days learned the first 40 elements of the periodic table. I am always looking for ways to make learning chemistry enjoyable. Thanks.

This is by far the best app for memorizing the periodic table. Could you please make an update to where I can adjust how many elements I work with at one time? It would make it much easier to handle. It seems jumping from level II to level III is just too much to handle all at once. Maybe if you could break it up into five or six levels! I would definitely be willing to pay for this upgrade. Thanks! (Also an option to use atomic numbers instead of letters would be amazing)

This app is amazing! I could never remember what symbols went to each chemical or gas but now I have 50% of them memorized. I have dyslexia and this is the best app memorization and patterns. I it is worth the minuet you give to down load it!

This game is great, but I have many suggestions. 1. Have some sort of sound. It gets boring playing this without some 2. Allow me to edit the leader boards. 3. It's just stupid when the elements crash. Remove that 4. Spread out levels 2 and 3 more. It goes easy, slightly challenging, then completely hard. I'll go 30sec, 1min, then 5 minutes. Spread them. Thank you

I have always dreaded this kind of memorization. With this app, I am learning and it is easy and FUN! Who would think that learning the periodic table could be so enjoyable? Highly recommend to high school and college chemistry students.
