Opus One has a lot of potential

5FoldCelticKnot

I bought Opus One today and was thrilled that it could take the place of my Franklin Covey planner or, better yet, work in conjunction with my paper planner. The major features that are missing and became a deal breaker for me are the Weekly and Daily Planning features in MacOS, but not in iOS. Whether or not I have a Mac, I do a majority of my work on an iPad Pro and without the Weekly and Daily Planning features, the app is not that useful. But, that’s just me. I’ll keep checking back and see if they’ve been added. There is a requested Features List on Trello and I see that Weekly Planning is on the list, but not sure the priority.

Picky calendar user

I am particular about calendars, and most I reject, but not Opus. So far I’m very satisfied, it’s my go to calendar.

Keyboard missing

I am using the trial. I’m on a question to find a planner I can use for both teaching and personal. So this looks nice but for twenty minutes I’ve been trying to add a task. The keyboard on my iPad will not come up. I’ve logged out. Back in. Scrolled back and forth. It is not coming up on any page. Without the keyboard it’s useless. I was also hoping that I could use the stylus to write on the planner pages similar to GoodNotes. I cannot. Update Keyboard is working. I have no idea what changed. I turned my iPad off and on. Reset worked. But oh how I really deeply dearly want to hand write in this app. It may be the game changing feature. I read reviews. Others a year ago and, onger have asked for this feature.

..Love this app. I dito all the other reviews. The reason I didn’t give 4 stars is.. I don’t like that the reminders are deleted on my apple reminders. It has lot of functionality I would like use in conjunction with this app. I know that can be fixed. I have several app that i use in conjunction with the apple app that don’t delete when they are synced. Can u help

Excellent Planner - Apple only

Great planner, but useless as I move between my iPad in the field to my PC in the office. Very shortsighted to ignore the PC market. I will not re-up my subscription, simply because there is not a synched version for the PC.

Customer service ??

Update: Customer service was able to configure my previous version and assisted me with my app. THANK YOU?! Loved my app all these years❤️

Best Task Manager

Just outstanding. I’ve been using Opus One for almost 2 years now. I started using a Franklin planner back in 1986 and am a zealot of the methodology. Opus One is (IMO) unequivocally the best software on the market.

The concept is brilliant, but...

I love the app and truthfully I would use it, but is not wholistic enough. We have moved to a world where we use and prefer less paper, so I want to use my Apple Pencil to make quick notes but also to create to do lists, or a note for an event .. or just create an event ... like I would do it with paper ... but I cannot so for this reason I would prefer other apps that allow me to do this. The concept, UI is the friendliest and most realistic from all the apps out there but again .. some of us want to also interface with calendars that are work related that most of the time are using outlook ... can’t do that either .. so there are 3 stars as I really liked the concept, the fill and the functionalities .. but please take in consideration where the world is moving, that we want to cut less trees to make notes that after will be thrown away .. and that are multiple platforms out there ... not only Mac.

Been waiting a long time for this!

Ever since my original iPad I’ve been looking for an app that truly replaces my old Franklin Planner. I finally have it in Opus One! It has everything I need, and I especially love the flexible daily notes. It’s clunkier on the iPhone but still usable, and I prefer iPad or Mac for bigger planning, anyway. The developer seems responsive (based on others, I haven’t needed to contact support) and I think some of the features I hope to eventually have are already on their list: better Apple Pencil integration, more customization of the Franklin Covey-type screens (compass, planner, etc.), sublists for tasks. I have encountered one glitch I hope will be fixed ASAP—when editing a repeating event it does the opposite when I select “for this event only” or “all events.” Weird. Thank you for bringing me back my planner!!

OPUS ONE JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER

Oh how I love this app. I used to be a Franklin Planner user but got tired of carrying all the paper around. Then I recently started using the Panda Planner, loved the creative side. I stumbled upon this app and it really does marry the two planners together in one app. Plus it works seamlessly with Google Calendar, its is visually stunning (please come out with more templates). I can set goals, write down what I am thankful for, upload images and AS OF TODAY, I can write using my Apple Pencil. I am in love and this is worth the price per year.
