There’s a glitch!

TennisGuy818

I downloaded this app about a week ago. The app worked perfectly fine for my first charge. I needed to charge my car tonight from 39% to 80%. The app showed me information at 43% to 44% for 7 mins 39 secs then showed me 53% to 54% for 9 mins 4 secs and again showed me 63% to 64% 6 mins 10 secs. What happened to the rest of the charge? My car is still being charged and it’s not showing anything at this point…really disappointed how the app is working out!

Still new

Potential is there to be a great app. I was able to select my electric provider but not able to find the right plan. As a workaround, I was going to manually enter the schedule but the app and website are both buggy in that I wasn’t able to save the schedule. Charging by cheapest or optimized is not based on my electric provider’s schedule. Would be ideal if it was using the rate schedule entered - except earlier issue. Would be good to be able to base the gas rate on local prices and also customize assumption on another gas car previously owned. Would be good if you were able to configure pre conditioning.

App glitches

Great concept but when I open the app sometimes it is blank. Have to close completely and reopen.

Unreliable

RateTheGreat

Unfortunately doesn’t work well. Charges 5 minutes into peak rate before it realised, or doesn’t start charging at all when peak ends. Has caused issues for a long journey due to no charge. Good support but not real fixes yet. Be cautious.

Missing One Thing

For being a free app it’s actually not too bad at all. But the one thing I think it desperately needs is the ability to customize mpg and fuel costs for comparison sake. App currently defaults to a vehicle that gets more mpg than the previous vehicle I sold for my Tesla, and it miscalculates the cost of premium fuel per gallon (a good .50¢ below current fuel costs). Would really like to make an accurate comparison, being able to enter customizable fuel values (mpg and fuel costs) would be a tremendous help.

Crazy Phantom drain

vn1286

I don’t usually write a review here but I see this app with 4.8 stars which doesn’t reflect true to me. At first I liked the app and didn’t realize a phantom drain. Later on I easily noticed that this app was the cause of phantom drain. It killed the battery 3-7% a day easily. Now I disable the app the battery drains 0-1% in a week(I don’t drive the car for a week). I might not use the app properly or something but it’s not acceptable if the app create phantom drain.

A must-have app to see home charging costs

EuroSnob

This is an amazing app that safely links to your Tesla and utility account to give a very detailed view of how much your are spending home charging your Tesla. The developer is also very responsive in addressing bugs as well. Highly recommended!

A Tesla Must!!!

No1Pencil

The perfect app for Tesla owners with roommates. You can easily isolate your electric spend to make sure the roomies are not paying your charging costs! Easy to set up and use!

Does not show home charges

Alwertz

Tried several times to see home charging information nothing ever showed up. Contacted support and was told to re install app. This was not successful. Terrible advertising.
