I've been with OptionsHouse since December of 2011. That changes today. I can no longer utilize this useless app and website interface. It makes trading and monitoring my portfolio nearly IMPOSSIBLE. Due to me being unable to manage my account properly I've lost 20% of my account in the last year! Why did they change the simple and functional interface to this confusing and useless one?! You've lost a customer, and I'm sure I won't be the first or the last. DO NOT use this app, its website or trading company.

Tho old OptionsHouse user interface was bad, but reliably usable. The new design after the merger with TradeMonster is unusable.

App freezes all the time ,it'll crash as well ,I keep my phone and apps updated ,never ever ever ever trade real money with this app ,it will freeze and your trade won't go through , I can deal with the interface even though it is very stupid ,like the watchlist I can't even see the price without clicking on the company ,it's pretty disappointing ,the only reason I'm with this company is because of their cheap option prices but I'm starting to wonder if that's even worth it.

I dont know if they were intentionally trying to make the worst app ever. But they definitely lowered the bar in terms of financial apps. To be fair the app 'used' to be good. But now serves as a nice and slow platform to ensure you have poor trading performance.

Desperate update is needed. Has not been able to launch for over a month now. Even after reinstall.

When you want to buy stock, instead of writing in the quantity you need (for example, 69 shares) you have to select a quantity from a scroll wheel that has 1, 100, 200, etc. So if you want to buy 2-99 shares, or 101-199 shares, you're SOL. I don't have to justify how infuriatingly stupid this is. It just blows my mind that, what used to be a great company, is letting such an important, simple, low-cost, easy-to-fix aspect (their app, the tool/bottleneck where almost all trading happens) undermine their whole company. It seems like the app was slapped together by a couple techs or summer interns, it hit the market, and nobody from Optionshouse ever even QCed it or checked on it.

The previous Optionshouse app was simple and fast. Creating orders and changing them took seconds. The new app is bulky and slow. It's buggy and freezes a lot. The close position is not smart as it doesn't automatically put the entire position but just a default amount.

Honestly, yes this app needs some work, but the charts are great for technical analysis on the go. I have Etrade, Scottrade and Optionshouse accounts, and for all option trades on the go, I turn to this app for a quick confirm on levels. For that reason even with the common crashes, I have to give this app 5 stars. This app is for anyone that is serious about day trading options and needs to confirm quick directional movement. This app has made me money; that's all that matters.

The latest update has brought along a plethora of bugs. I run into issues with the current release of this app daily.
