This little gem of a game totally surprised me when I saw it show up today. I did not have high expectations but the level design, gameplay and music are great. The only disappointing thing is the controller movement doesn't feel natural. I'm using a horipad controller and adding analog joystick support would make it work much better.
I am fairly experienced in these types of games and it's simply too hard for me. I think the easy setting is even hard. I think it should be made a little bit easier AT LEAST in the EASY setting. When paying this much money for a game, I'd hope that I could enjoy it's full value for the money paid. With a level of difficulty so high, I am not able to enjoy the purchase to its fullest. I just ask that you go easy on some of us, at least the ones that like this style but want a more relaxing experience. I will easily rate five stars if you guys can do that. Great job, great game, ALMOST worth the money.
Hold onto your hats. This thing jumps right into the fray IMMEDIATELY. These devs really know what they are doing with this kind of in-your-face action. Wild music, insanity, this has it all. It is great!
Great old school styled shooter. Love the retro music and cheesy storyline. Extra star for no IAP. Would like an option for unlimited credits, doubt my old thumbs have what it takes to get me past the 3rd stage anymore.
This is a very high quality fun shooter. It's got beautiful retro graphics and style, intense and fun shooting and bullet dodging action, great soundtrack, lightning fast load times, perfect touch controls. This feels like it could be a console or arcade game as far as its level of polish. Well worth the price.
One of the best bullet hell shmups of recent times. Love the art and music. Only minor issue for me was the lack of multitouch control capabilities. It forced me to lose control of the ship so that i could double tap to use the special power because it wouldn't recognize double taps from my other finger while i had one finger on screen to control the ship. This is a big issue for a game like this considering the fact that it requires you to move your ship at all times to avoid dying. Although the precision of the touch controls to move the ship around are spot on. Would have been a must buy for any shmup fan had it not been for the minor annoyance in the controls. I hope they fix it.
There are just things flying all over the place at such a frenetic pace. This wouldn't be such a big deal if there was room to maneuver. While i consider myself above average at shooting games, this seems impossible and quickly lost patience. It's too bad as the graphics and sound are excellent. Just not fun to me and waste of money.
Nice homage to arcade shoot 'em ups of times past. There are a few issues: (1) punishing difficulty even on the lowest setting, (2) lack of multitouch control, and (3) amount of time spent underpowered (especially during boss battles), as your ship loses power ups each time it is hit. It would be helpful if the next ship could continue with the same level of firepower.
