The ONLY browser that keeps tabs on a row and doesn’t switch to that impractical ugly square thing that Apple has decided to make standard. PERFECT, please keep tabs this way, THANK YOU

Simply the worst browser I’ve ever used (and I’m old enough that I remember using Mosaic). To be clear, the desktop version of Opera is the BEST browser I’ve ever used. But on iPad it’s lacking basic browser features that have been standard for over 20 years. For instance, on every other browser I’ve used in that time, mobile or otherwise, holding the back button gives you an in-tab history that you can select from. In mobile Opera, however, you can only go back one page at a time. Not only is this inconvenient if you have to go back many pages and are forced to do so one at a time, but it means there’s no way past certain auto-reloading pages and redirects, creating an impassable wall and effectively losing the tab history. Speaking of which, the browser has a nasty habit of forgetting an entire tab history and resetting it to just the page it’s currently on. To be fair this has become less frequent in the past few versions, but still happens sometimes. There’s also a startling lack of control over things like what’s allowed to run on a page, like various potentially harmful scripts (or those that cause those pesky redirects). In short, this browser might seem decent if you never need to backtrack to anything (and never visit any unfamiliar websites), but if you—like pretty much everyone who’s online habits I’ve ever seen—do a lot of backtracking and branching into other tabs, you’re going to lose a lot of information with this browser.

Opera used to be my go-to browser for years, and now I find that this bizarre iOS version doesn't even allow me to sign in and sync my account. Wait . . . what? When did we enter the Twilight Zone? That means no more access to bookmarks or to the super-convenient speed dial available on the desktop version. This is a shocking, illogical, deal-breaking choice for a major browser. Please make this make sense.

Its 2022 and theres still no bookmark sync. Shame, was hoping to ditch chrome all together.
