Using our iPhone app you can track your location, visualize where you've been, and upload your data to the OpenPaths website. You can then download your data from the website in a variety of friendly formats, including KML, JSON, and CSV. The OpenPaths API enables you to integrate your own software with the platform.

You can keep your location history to yourself, or you can share it with specific research initiatives, art projects, or educational programs as you so choose. The OpenPaths online interface allows you to manage who has access to your data. Your data is secure on the encrypted OpenPaths servers and cannot be accessed by anyone without your express consent.

Awesome!

A great idea and an amazing app!

Finally!

This is the app I've been waiting for. A super simple long-term tracker. I'm not interested in accuracy or real-time. I just want to be able to look at travel patterns over a week, month, and year. Please keep it simple and focus on battery-life preservation as you update. Thank you! This is a great start!

Great idea

And really simple UI. However, I get lots of inaccurate results so far. It shows me at places I have not been. Still have to try out the API.

Works as promised

I've tried out the API, it's just fine. Battery life is not impacted too much, and accuracy of the points is good enough for me. Nice work. Please keep it simple.

Good baseline

This app shows me the general paths of where I commonly drive which is something I wanted. It is not accurate enough to distinguish between two parallel routes.

Just what I've wanted
No way hosay

The basic data but enough.

Great

Works best when you drive a car, ride a bike or walk. When you're in the subway very often it gets confusing because it also adds places you have only been under the ground.. But its interesting to see what data all those apps can access when you let them use your location data.

Crashes

Crashes every time I open it.

Performs as advertised

Not a dazzling work of art but it is utilitarian. My installation has been stable and smooth. It provides interesting information.

So close!

Brilliant and innovative concept carried out with less than desirable seriousness. Crashes so often it's of little use. I'd like to see this improved upon! Could be something great with a lot of work.
