I though it was a place to talk to people you don’t know it would be great if it was but I’m uninstalling it because it told me I needed three people to join before I could even go any further ..

My friends and I downloaded the Open app and had a lot of fun with it. The app gives you a new nickname for every new chat so you never knew who was messaging each other. The anonymity led to some pretty funny and interesting conversations. Would recommend for your friend group

I got a text saying a friend invited me to this app. Once, I downloaded the app, I was forced to give the app access to my contacts in order to proceed. If someone invited me, then shouldn’t I be able to connect without involving my contacts? It’s a scam!

Ridiculous Setup

I received a random text message saying a friend invited me to this app. I began the process of setup to see whatever “friend” invited me. You have to send invites to at least 20 people in your contacts. That’s ridiculous. I’m not going to spam 20 different people to see a message. In fact, I don’t even think there is a message. I think that they send out the invite falsely saying a friend sent you a message. Needless to say, I didn’t make it past the add contacts stage of setup — I deleted the app. If there actually is a message, then sorry friend but you’re going to have to talk to me the old fashioned way.
