Works great for me

I can now carry my LibreOffice lists with me for boring errands. Once I paid for it, the ads went away the next time I rebooted the phone.

Search?
cjclarke1962

Has no search function! I have my library set up in an Open Office spreadsheet which has just short of 5300 lines. Without a search function it takes forever to find out if I have a particular book or author. I could NOT recommend this to anyone

Hs stopped working
Hotels.com app

I have used this app for years and have found it to be efficient and reliable. However, it has begun to completely shut down when moving about half way through a document. It has never done this before so Pam not certain what is happening. The document I use the most with this app is only 10 pages long, so it’s not too large. Must be a big, but wish it could be solved!!!

Works again!
Texxasrose

Thank you so much for the update! Works great now. I tried WPS (Apple broke it last week) and Word, but neither worked as great as OpenOffice! Please update soon. No other app seems to want to open ODT files, despite what they may claim. This used to be how I read in bed every night, and I miss it a lot. And still broken with 13.1.2 I use this app daily, but Apple managed to BREAK EVERYTHING with their 13.1.1 update. Now crashes after scrolling through a couple of pages.

Needs an update desperately

I paid for the ad free version and it’s been great. But all of a sudden when I try to get documents for review from my cloud (Mac to iPhone) it says the files are “empty” when they clearly are not. It’s very annoying because I can’t always be carrying my laptop around.

pCloud storage would be perfect
DgOnAS

This is a very nice app for who wants cross-platform access to their LibreOffice and pdf documents. The synchronization with cloud storage is great but -given the latest debacle with Dropbox cutting off RHEL OS- it would be nice to have more cross-platform storage options, I am particular fond of pCloud, hopefully they’ll manage to support it soon... One detail for equation rendering in OO Draw: rline ... lline (absolute value) pairs fail to render correctly, showing boxes instead (occasionally only rline shows up correctly...)

Not affiliated with OO or Libre, buggy, has ads
grimoire_games

On my first session I got a bug alert popup written in broken English that my pdf was ... Too big? Dunno. Couldn’t view it. Forcing users to watch google ads in popup windows is also against everything that FOSS stands for. oof

Yikes !! It uploads the file to the internet
DRM 87654383557

This software (as explained on its webpage), does the conversion by uploading your document to the internet and then scanning and converting it. Your original document is then deleted from its servers. I have no reason to believe they will use my files in a bad way. BUT, I also have no reason to trust everyone in their organization with my files.

Great for preaching.

I type all my sermons using an Open Office platform on Linux Mint. This app has given me the ability to send the documents to my iPad or iPhone for the sole purpose of reading from it. Once I send it I do not plan on changing it, so the app works great for this.

One Shortcoming.
Grumpier than thou

I have three iOS devices, and I use all three. OOReader was installed on one of the devices. It worked quit well so I installed it on the other two iOS devices. All three devices are connected too the same network. The problem is that documents added to one of the units is NOT available on either of the other two. All three units are connected to the cloud.
