Oooh

So, WHAT are ‘ooohs’? They are hard to describe (kinda have to just try them ;). We didn't have a word for these things we made, but we kept hearing everyone's ‘oooh’ sounds of surprise when they played our prototype more than 2 years ago… so we called them ‘ooohs’.

What makes ooohs SPECIAL? They have technology baked into them: they verify your score or your participation. What you do - and how well you do it! - is how you stand out here. This is how you make leaderboards, level up, grow an audience, or just compete and collab with friends and your fav creators! Level up enough and make it to Creator. Keep leveling up and eventually apply for the coveted checkmark reserved only for creators who are ‘Verified Partners’.

HOW DO OOOHS WORK? It’s easy:
1. ‘Hosts’ first start an oooh, then they post it.
2. Then you get to join it - and post yours back!
3. The Host gets to see all the posts and decides who to feature in their oooh!

We know it sounds different - but it is really, really FUN. We’ve made it easy to start: tap the ‘Go’ buttons on any video, and start joining ooohs. Get high scores or be creative to be rewarded.

How do I become a HOST? By joining and posting ooohs, you will level up and eventually unlock ‘Creator’ status which gives you the ability to host ooohs.

What’s in it for me as a CREATOR? Oooh was founded by a team that comes from Twitch, YouTube, Disney and the video game world - WE GET CREATORS. We made Oooh a place especially for YOU. As a Creator you show up and are given ooohs to have fun with yourself - this helps to solve the ‘what should I create today?!’ question that plagues all of us. Everything you do on Oooh - including the people you feature in your ooohs! - can be posted on all your other socials too. You don’t have to choose.

Watch your audiences collab and compete together. Oooh gives you the tools to interact with and ultimately reward your fans for their skill, creativity and dedication. Your fans will feel closer, and you can shine your spotlight on new stars to be made in your community.

Is Oooh for EVERYONE? Yes. And, we're safe for all ages, including under-13 year olds. We moderate content on the platform, and have the appropriate COPPA protections and permissioning in place for Parental Consent. We want Oooh to be a home for everyone to be recognized and rewarded for their talents. We didn’t want to cut this ability off for young people - we’re going the extra mile for you so you have the same first-class experience as everyone.
