Critical Guy
The app does a lot of stuff with the lighting, but you’re paying by the month. And factually, most of this novelty stuff you’re not gonna use at all. I would pay a reasonable flat fee for these setting,but $36 a year, every year? No, thank you. I don’t like the app, and I think it’s options are overpriced for what little it does. I found the developers response dismissive & condescending.

Please for the love of all that is joyful stop sending notifications for sports themed light effects. I don’t watch sports and it’s the only notification I get from the app

I have a mixture of LIFX and HUE. I loved this app when I tried the DEMO but as soon as I purchased the app it stopped recognizing my LIFX bulbs and no support was given. I gambled and loss. They told me it costs too much to support LIFX. I hope they put my subscription to better use than I was able to do with their app. UPDATE; 07/02/21 Have been powwowing with the developer but why the app stopped recognizing my LIFX remains a mystery. Downloads of similar Demos recognized Hues and LIFX instantly.

I downloaded this app more than 5 years ago and never searched for a replacement. It does everything you could ask of Hue.
Great for Phillips Hue

As the title says: this app is great for controlling Phillips Hue lights. The sunrise and sunset features are awesome. Not sure what I'd do without this app. Would be nice to have a 'category' for favorites since I really only use about 5 or 6.
The best animation app for HUE

I have used OnSwitch for years. Almost my entire house and outdoor spaces are Phillips Hue. I found that the Hue Sync app less user friendly and intuitive to use when the original app was updated. Since then, OnSwitch is my go-to app. There are plenty of interesting animations and they are regularly coming out with new ones. Even my neighbors enjoy the nightly light show that changes with the season, holiday, or just to match my mood. Keep the fires flowing!
