Why do I need a nickname????

I wasted an hour of my life trying to install this piece of garbage. As MANY reviewers have stated, it is nearly impossible to get this hunk of crap to connect through the app. I have a lot of smart home devices. I'm very experienced at setting them up. This is the worst. THE WORST. First Alert has had variations of this product on the market for years. YEARS! Why have the not perfected the set up yet?????? They should change their name from First Alert to Worst Alert. I'm sending this garbage back and buying a different brand.

I've never had a single piece of software give me so many issues. I'm shocked that brk would put out a product with so little effort. Things seem to have gotten worse since these were released somehow as well.

What happen you all screwed up everything! This use to work fine & now you can’t connect can’t test can’t do anything at all WHY?!!!!!!! This aggravated me to no end if it isn’t broke then why break it & screw it up! To think I was going to buy more of your prom it with the issue you have now! FIX IT NOW & STIP SCREWING AROUND REALLY!!!!

I never rate apps, but took the time after the 7th failed setup attempt. I have over 40 smart home devices in my house and the setup for these is ridiculous. Whomever wrote the code for this app has no idea what they are doing. Nice try, but don’t buy the “smart” smoke/CO2 alarms and try to use this terrible app.

My one safe and link is on Bluetooth mode and the app won’t recognize, I’m connected to WiFi and the device is flashing blue.......

This app is horrible. It took me two hours to setup two detectors I bought from Costco on a Black Friday sale. I hope that I’m not putting my loved ones lives at risk because if this app is any indication, these detectors will be very finicky and operate on a 5-minute delay. The CEO needs to pay attention to these reviews and invest more in app development because it is impacting top line sales. I was considering replacing four more detectors in my home, but now... forget it.
