"[It's] an amazing mobile music player."

OnCue is a unique and innovative music player built to harness the power of iOS to deliver the best music-listening experience on mobile devices.

Everything centers around your Queue, a live playlist that you can build, shuffle, and rearrange while your music is playing.

OnCue is also a powerful tool for professional live performers, used every day by motivational speakers, radio hosts, musicians, and professional DJs.

* iCloud syncing
Save your queues and your Smart Queues to iCloud to access them from both your iPhone and iPad. And sync your current queue to iCloud, so it's always identical across your devices, down to the now playing song's elapsed time.

* Drag and Drop Simplicity
The easiest way to build and rearrange a music queue on the iPhone and iPad. Just grab any song's drag handle, or tap and hold on any album, artist, or playlist, to drag it right into and around your queue.

* Everything, right where you need it
See what's in your Queue, and where. See what's already played. See what's playing now, and control the player. See and access everything you need from anywhere in the app.

* A Smart way to play
Introducing Smart Queues. Create re-usable filters to queue up songs using a list of rules. Use rules to find songs by title, artist, album, genre, rating, duration, and last played date. It's the ease and functionality of iTunes' Smart Playlists right on your iPhone or iPad.

* Advanced Crossfade
Enable crossfade for gapless playback and smooth transitions between playing songs. You can even customize the "fade in from" and "fade out to" volumes so your music plays just the way you want.

* Get informed
Swipe any song in your library and tap the Info button to see the song's Lyrics, Music Videos, Artist Bio, and Similar Artists. Even preview the song before you add it to your Queue.

* Always know what's next
Wherever you are in OnCue, your Queue is just a swipe away--so you always know what's next.
* OnCue even displays the next four songs right on your Lock Screen. *

OnCue has everything you'd expect from a modern music player, and a ton more:
◆ Social networking features, including Last.fm scrobbling and customized posts to Facebook and Twitter
◆ Song scrubbing
◆ Search
◆ Shuffle
◆ Sleep timer
◆ AirPlay support
◆ Gesture control

(Note: OnCue 6 requires iOS6. Also, because OnCue uses its own audio processor for queueing and crossfading, songs stored in the iTunes Match cloud cannot be played.)

Reviews

Needs iTunes Match support
AmpliHelix

I use a couple other music apps and they all have full iTunes Match support. With OnCue, my playlists and genres from my iTunes Match library show in the app fine, but none of my albums, artists, nor songs show up anywhere.

Very good player

Currently this app always suffers bugs update after update. The fact deleting the app and reinstalling doesnt help. Currently my playlist don't show when you select them. When you make a custom playlist within the app it will delete itself with the next update... I honestly love this player but when it wants to work. I think developer needs to get more testing done with willing people who want beta this app so it's more stable in future releases. -original review- I decided to pick this up after hearing it on TWiTs Macbreak weekly. After messing with it for few hours. I pretty much made it my default music player on my iPhone 4s. Features are great and the tips are very helpful. So far I see no issues on the app. Worth it for .99 sale!

Needs Gapless Support
dpassen1

Almost the perfect Music replacement app. But it doesn't play Gapless tracks seamlessly. The built in music player does.

Some complains are baseless. Some are correct.
Niel D.

Why do you need Gapless when you have awesome cross fading? Keep it to 1-2 sec and you ll be happy. Also iTunes Match support is not there because you are not using default iPad/iPhone player. if you get iTunes Match, you can never get crossfade. Although, I agree some updates have been buggy. The UI and colors are fine, just need more stability

Crashes constantly
Heymurph

I really want to love this music player, as the playback features are great. But this is a very unstable app that crashes constantly on my iPhone 4S, making it pretty much unusable. Hope they can fix the bugs.

Disappointing
Tdk182

From the screenshots you don't see how the window that allows you to drag the songs from, looks like. It's low quality graphic, but even worst is that the app doesn't load the playlists, so you have to search songs manually picking from artist name. I spent more than $2 for this and it crashed the first time I opened it. This is disappointing.

Song tab listing empty
Wakamotos

Playlist shows an empty songs, please fix. This was agood player before.

Awesome

Nuff said.

Great but very buggy
hexperiment

This app basically suits my taste of listening to music but since the last update, the app has been very glitchy. It stutters and is slow to respond. Sometimes when I start the application, it freezes completely when it tries refreshes my library and I can never get past it unless I delete the app entirely and redownload it. I do have over 1000 songs in my ipod but this shouldn't be a problem for any music player. Please fix this as soon as possible.

Great concept, too buggy
zorktron

This app is much better than the default music app. It has many features, but it crashes a lot. I had to delete it from my iPhone because out of frustration. I hope there is an update coming soon that fixes the bugs this version has.
