Interesting idea, but when someone wants to chat it costs money to accept their request and without knowing anything about them or what they look like, no thanks.
Once - built to mainly not deliver & take more funds just to chat and engage with others

If Once under-providing is of little to no concern. If bang for your buck (no pun intended) and cost is not of issue for you. If getting jilted by Once just doesn't matter. Then pay and keep paying extra to Once and you may find a good connection. Or, you may not. Once will, for most, scam you much more than once. Edit addition after company response: Your pictures of members seem stolen (fake) as very often these pictures are reverse images. Your email notifications of member requested chat requests require payment just to see and view who is requesting to chat. That's weird. I expect Once itself may in fact be sending these flirt/chat requests in order to get me and its members to first pay Once in order to just view chat requests to determine if we even want to proceed. It is very apparent Once is a money grab. Edit after 2nd company response where it said, " paying features are only optional." No, not true. The only way to connect with someone is to chat. If I 'grab someone's attention' or initiate a chat I must pay. Therefore NOT optional as the very nature of use of the Once app is communicate with others. Even when I had the VIP subscription payment was required to grab another's attention, to chat. And each and every time someone sent me a chat request (while with the free version) I must pay to see who sent the chat request, and I must pay to chat. It is NOT optional to not pay Once in order to communicate with other members. And I have found no explanation from Once as to how much payment will buy chats and for how much time, or how many reciprocal chat exchanges are permitted by Once and will occur before Once forces a member to pony-up more payment in order to continue the same chat exchange. The subscription environment seems ripe to lead on a user, a bit like extortion where one will have to keep paying in order to and in chasing a potential match, where the 'slow' process of chatting will require yet more and more funds. Also, Once should not have right to edit/delete its previous responses.

This app is designed to trick you into believing it has a userbase. I could count on one hand how many real people are on it. Don't fall for the $6.99 offer during your free trial. It's not even worth $0.99

Adoption rate is low in my area, even after buying “premium” access I had to pay even more to message users who had “invited me to chat”. Not recommended
This app just wants your money

This app is really just trying to make money from people’s loneliness. If you expect to even talk to one person on here you better be expecting to spend atleast $2. Honestly terrible app.
