Very nice and well designed app. It gives events, births, and deaths. You have the option to tap on most of them to read more about it on a wiki page.

Informative and interesting apps always intrigue me! I recommend this. If I could make a suggestion, however, please let there be a setting on whether you'd like to view the most historic/impacting events in history first rather than chronological ones. I was shocked for a second September 11th didn't mention the 9/11 terrorist attack in 2001 until I realized it was simply below six or so other events. I'd rather see the biggest ten historic events than the last ten.

iOS 7 breaks it

Great app but iOS 7 breaks presentation of links on iPad. They are formatted too large for the screen. This makes the supporting articles impossible to read since the app doesn't support landscape.

Julian to Gregorian calendar switch?

Love the App, but I was asked by a friend if it takes into account the switch between Julian to Gregorian calendar. I could not find the answer but noticed discrepancy between what the App says as date for Charlemagne coronation as King of Franks and what Wikipedia says. Is the difference due to that?
